Do you think the two languages (English and French) could be made national languages and be part of school curriculum to avert the crisis that the country is facing, just like here in East Africa we have made both English and Kiswahili national Languages.
You make a very valid point but actually, English and French are already the national languages and are already a compulsory part of the school curriculum. The language issue is just a small indication of the crisis and while making the country truly bilingual is yet to be achieved (because the country as a whole is more French than English), there are so many other things we need to work on as a people to move forward.
Hahaha the baby at the airport. 🤣🤣🤣The laughing voice cracked me. Hhaha you know you are in Cameroon when the hot heat from Douala blows you. 😍😍Babadjou....
Lizzz, is Babadjou your village? Sisssss we were actually laughing at the airport because the whole thing was just ridiculous at some point. When they say 'form a queue', Cameroonians decide to form a crowd. I love this country tho.
Yeah, it’s hectic. There used to be a direct flight, but with Covid and travel restrictions, I guess they had to get rid of less profitable routes as people weren’t travelling as much. This trip was in Dec 2020
Aww say hello to mummy for us oh! You guys look so much alike ☺️😬😬 Lol exactly do donkeys sweat? I was literally asking myself that when you said it 😂 Omo those roads were quite dusty. Seeing those cows on the roads reminds me so much of Nigeria. Interesting..
Yes ooo, we will be seeing Momsi quite a bit in the upcoming videos! She's always in the comment section though, reading all our conversations. Africa really is one. Our countries will always remind each other of home. xx
Unfortunately not, Lemo. I was scheduled to go earlier this year and stay with a friend for about a month so that I could really experience Jozi and a bit of Gauteng but 3rd wave hit and travel was restricted. Even last year, I was meant to visit Durban but pandemic had other plans. Plus, being on a student visa, I’m so scared of breaking any rules intentionally or unknowingly so…. I was limited to Western Cape.
That heat! Sticky and warm ya! Love home
