Her Q & A may not be flawless but it's very apparent that the industry has been really craving for a blonde Barbie doll. The overrated Latinas and Filipinas in the pageant world have become tiring at the moment. Even the Miss USA representatives are getting more and more exotic-looking because of the "pageant trend" so it's actually quite refreshing to see a stereotypical Barbie win the Miss Universe.

It’s not just the answer, its the time in concentration, their interviews with the judges, their interactions with fans and fellow delegates. She might have not given the best answers but was the most charismatic, spontaneous and angelical up there.

The standard of MU in the New Era is to select a beauty queen from the black room interview round and push her to the deepest round so that she can show her talent that is suitable to get the crown. And yes, some beauty queens do well but you are not chosen. The last 5 people answer round, the question cannot send you to your dream if you are not chosen before. For me, I like her. She is deserving. But is this MU that has changed forever?
She was chosen from the get go and they paved the way for her. That is not necessarily a bad thing if the org truly wanted her, they are the one who will work with her. However it was a huge disrespect to the other girls competing
