I was in malaysia 2 weeks ago, I fell in love with the people and the country. Now my wife and I decided to move to malaysia in summer 2024. (my wife is from malaysia, she new I would want to move 😂)
Have been there thrice. Want to come back every year and maybe eventually settle there. People are amazing and so helpful. Though i have heard stories of people being asked to convert their religion for getting permanent jobs. As such i felt safe, happy and really amazing here be it in KL, Melacca, Genting or Langkawi. But I love the country for it's diversity.
Although there are notable cultural differences between each state of Malaysia, particularly the peninsula and Borneo, we are proud to be the most culturally diverse country in the world and to coexist peacefully as a nation.
Hello Chai Great interviews as always it is really wonderful the people you interview are always interesting. Think it's about embracing each country and their culture. Take Care
Hi Sue! I really like to show people a different perspective. Especially in Europe and I assume in America, news can do harm to big groups of people. Whilst in reality most people no matter what region or background can live together in harmony 🤗 stay champ ❤️
Hahahaaa... When it comes to the traffic or driving, everyone turn into somebody else...😂😂 Traffic in Penang is so crazy compared to other states in Malaysia... Don't forget to go to IPOH and MELAKA, also our beautiful beaches and island at the east coast malaysia.. 💖
As someone who drives in Georgetown everyday, Penang drivers are truly horrendous (not all of course). Melaka drivers come in second and third would be KL.
Great work again Chai. Looking forward to your future videos and the views of the local people living in and also those tourists visiting KL. Bangkok is a grand old city that many call the best in SE Asia. I wonder how it compares to KL either good or bad. Interesting subject but probably impossible to run with because many people have never been to both, except you of course. Have fun champ 🤩
Haha thanks mate! For sure there is a lot more content in the pipeline. Kl is definitely very different the. Bangkok indeed so we’re able to make some fresh videos 😃 thanks again champ 🏆 have a great evening
The young lady who was saying "yelling" came all the way to Malaysia to experience this beautiful country and to immerse in different cultures. English is her second language and she is probably not very familiar with Islam as she grew up in Germany. I think I'm not wrong to say she said a lot of positive things and she was not aware of people getting insulted by her words.
Do not convince people to come to Malaysia. We are happy to be like this. We don't care what the world think about us. Being a underrated country is not a problem about us.
Yeah Malaysia is like the best home. Or the country for retirement. We live in harmony, no strict rules, with great countryside and just relax until we die. Definitely, worth dying for😌
Abaout the traffic yes agreed 100% but luckily there still we have a very good maner driver... n lowzy driver also have laa.. maybe that why we have a proper law for traffic if 'ikot suka' definitely jahanam🤪🤣🤣
Retirement Visa there makes necessary a showing of 10 thousand US dollars per month income. I feel that this will turn many away. Need to know and not need to show is important to most everyone I know. Correction... everybody I know.
Yea so they're not stranded in Malaysia. For example, in Philippines it's a bit lenient and many travelers endup being broke and had to ask the already poor locals for help, most I've heard that they overspent on pleasing the women/pinoy girlfriend and family. The high monthly income is to ensure they didn't get broke overseas.
We got a new Visa Program call De Rantau or Digital Nomad Visa...valid up to 2 years... This one is way easier to get... Only minimum requirements needed...
Because we need quality foreigners who willing to spend in order to generate income for local businesses. USD10k is standard income for professional expatriates. Otherwise it would be nothing different than millions of foreign cheap labourers already existing in Malaysia.
In Malaysia, we are so sweet to each other, butttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt, it we touch the car steering then the evil comes out! Hahahahahahhaha!
Your video tagline is not appropriate (for me) so to speak; as much as I think it's just metaphorical but then again it's not funny. By the way you're most WELCOME in Malaysia. Thank you for the video about my country.
That’s right Patrick. It is a bit off. I think you did watch the video and you know it is definitely not about people killing. I just want to share the love of Malaysia and a “shocking” title most of the time reaches more people. Only good vibes ❤️
Malaysians are generally friendly. One of the reason is the ability to speak english. Perhaps those chinese you saw are the oldies and not really understand english. That's why they avoided talking to you.

Haha let’s make that move! 🏆
I will be moving to Malaysia too
Love it ALL ❤
Was out in Malaysia for 18 days in February and absolutely loved it.
Had no problems at all and can't wait to go back.
That's great mate! I'm glad you had a good time :D
Nice one, Chai. Malaysia looks very interesting. I'm curious to know what the street food is like.
Thanks mate 😃 I’m happy to see you’re still enjoying some of the content! 🏆cheers

I think the traffic in Malaysia is still disciplined and civilised compared to other countries. 😂
Haha yeah you’re probably right 🫣😜
wow watching this video makes me want to come to malaysia, you really convinced me, wait a minute, i already live here
Haha, you live somewhere really nice!
thanks for this video :))
Your very welcome 😁❤️
0:52 I think she's referring to the azan or the call to prayer, instead of the imam yelling?
Haha yes I’m pretty sure she didn’t mean to say yelling but, the sound of an Imam praying :)
@@Chai_Travel Not yet praying, but sounding the call to prayer.;)
Mosque usually have this khutbah or ceramah where imam yells all the time. She is probably right.
What a small brain!!!
@@keithframe3489 it sounds more like singing to me tbh. I really like I’m in a different part of the world when I hear it. I like it :)
Nice work again Sir Chai - nice people - happy times 😃👊👋👌🙏
Yoo-hoo! Always a pleasure and you know it 😃 it’s not hard to find lovely people here in Malaysia. Wat is hard to find here is Pad Kra Prow moo 🤣
About the traffic was right. Especially in Penang. They like try to bring you straight to hospital.
Haha yeah. Crazy traffic 😝

An advice when driving in Malaysia ... as long as you avoid "kissing" the back of the vehicle in front, you'll do fine.
Penang trafic is another level
Actually traffic KL is the worst, no doubt about it
Hi world. Malaysia has solidly PROVEN all races and religions can live COEXIST with PEACE for long decades. To experience it must come to explore.
To know Malaysia is to love Malaysia
Malaysia is indeed truly Asia 👍🇲🇾❤️✌️😎

I’ve received your comment
I recently went to Penang. There's already too many Westerners there.
The Heaven of Food is Selangor and KL.
love the honesty ❤
Thanks Ruz7ey

Malaysia is truly Asia...
Malaysian are generous when they are not driving....
😂🤣 so true
Underrated 😂😂
Traffic is crazy but you rarely hear vehicles horn honking...
So true. Maybe something to do with respect? Idk :)
@@Chai_Travel Maybe... 🙂
that what sibling do... we try to killed each other yet we dont want any of us get harmerd... love hate relationship to get attention from parent😍😘
Hahaha that’s it. We’re all brothers and sisters ❤️
Malaysians are like Dr Jekyll turned into Mr Hyde or Bruce Banner into Hulk when driving.
😂 it’s mad! Lol
So true. We can be very nice people when we are not driving 😂
I think is more of a Penang thing. I'm from KL, driving in Penang freaks me out.
@@zafir7007 Johor also like that. The drivers from JB also quite aggressive. 😅
Guy in the red shirt was entertaining.
Haha yeah he was fun and very helpful 😁
Beware of the food, lots of delicious food, lots of variety from local food to foods from all over the world..your weight might increase😁
Too much food. I think I need bigger clothes after a few weeks 😳
Been in KL for 3 days recently. To be honest, there are too many Bangladeshi. I almost didn't hear people speak Malaysian 😢
A assume the living conditions are a lot better in KL than in Bangladesh. Hopefully there’s a good system to immigrate them well ❤️
When enter into the car, they are hulk , when they leave the car, it is Dr banner.
Hahaha. I live in a smaller town and we drive pretty good until we find cars in the weekend with plate numbers from KL???
🤣
The traffic is good and discipline.. compare to Indonesia everywhere horn non stop

I found the Malays and indians friendly during my visit there but some of the Chinese were stand offish and uptight.
