IRAN / Persia is an old civilisation, just like Bharath. Both are temperamentally compatible. Iran's economy will benefit as India trades with Afghanistan and central Asia. India's medium industries should set up units in Iran because Iran has talented people, engineers and so on. India should persuade Iran to do trade in Indian rupees because of USA sanctions on Iran. It is no good for India to provoke the USA and Europe by doing large scale investments in Iran which, unfortunately have to be designated in a worldwide currency like US dollar.
