    Great review! I get average 7 1/2 hours off each charge, and I have had up to 240 ft. Of Bluetooth distance from line of site. Very happy with this little beast!

    Jason thank you! Need a favor if u can please test this and let me know what u think.
    Connect your phone or laptop via the 3.5 to a XLR splitter to connect to both channels on the Bose which lets you now manipulate bass and treble!
    I tried it and the Bose just opened up!
    Much appreciated

    Do they have a sub you can pair with it?

  • @Strfanopita
    @Strfanopita 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi, nice video. Are these good speakers for parties?? If 2 of them, say for 100 people party?? Thanks

    • @djjasonhooper9882
      @djjasonhooper9882  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You could do a small party with two of them. They are smooth and clear, but you'll definitely be lacking that low-mid response. If I were you, I'd pair them with a subwoofer for the best sound- and even then, I'd probably not count on them to do more than a 100 people. Good luck and sorry for the late reply!

    Great video? Any idea of the 'actual' output of this speaker? Where I live, the council state I can only use a 20 watt amp!! I'm assuming if I use my bose s1 Pro on low volume it won't be over 20 watt? Many thanks Sean

    Bose says up to 50 people application. With a pair indoors how many people?

    • @djjasonhooper9882
      @djjasonhooper9882  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry for the late reply. It depends on the application. You could do 100 people for sound fill or something similar with a pair. But I wouldn't rock a party with two of them. Not without a subwoofer at least- even then, It would be pushing it.

    • @djjasonhooper9882
      @djjasonhooper9882  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      805KUERVO Hey thanks for checking out the video! The bass is great for a small (6”) woofer. As with all Bose stuff, the magic they put into these speakers to make them sound so good and full range is amazing!
      Unfortunately, the Bluetooth input has no bass or treble control :/ you need to use whatever program your streaming from to control eq. I use, and recommend DJAY by algoriddim.

    I love this speaker/PA so much, I bought two! I have the backpacks you can get for them, and really lightweight aluminum stands in a heavy duty bag. I am a professional violinist that plays with backing tracks and I have been extremely successful playing on the street with this setup. It's a real experience and makes it feel like you're really inside of the music especially with two of them. The money that I've made on the street has paid for all of my equipment two or three times fold. I also highly recommend the investment. 🤩

    Hi,
    I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. I have the Bose S1 and I agree it's an amazing speaker, here's my question though, I was doing a gig today and had it plugged into the mains, but after a few hours it started to loose power, a decrease in volume, luckily I was just finishing my gig, but I thought if you were plugged into the mains it would always be 100% ?...I also use an i pad for backing, any advise would be welcome, many thanks
    Andy

    • @djjasonhooper9882
      @djjasonhooper9882  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry for the late reply- I hope you have figured this out! It should definletly NOT lose volume or power when connected to the mains. If it has kept doing it, you should contact Bose to see if they can help.

    Great Video. DJLu here... I also do weddings, parties, etc. and I have this speaker. Recently, I bought the S1 Pro + that just came out, and I also bought the transmitters (both XLR for mic, and 1/4 in for guitar, or any other sound source. They are phenomenal! All of my setups are like yours, except I use all battery powered systems for complete autonomy. I have even been praised because I used these as indoor backups when the power went out at an event due to weather. These are not cheap, but are very reliable and sound great.
