I love how the Dollar Store still has big name brands like Jimmy Dean. They just have smaller Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches, and they're still really good.
A true $ store doesn't exist anymore sadly because of inflation. The closest is the dollar tree at $1.25 except cards which are still $1 or less. Honestly don't understand why dollar general is even allowed to be named that because the average price in that store is a minimum of $3 to $5.

You are correct you have to be careful at what you get at the Dollar store. We have a Dollar General and they have produce. So the fruit and vegetables are pretty good. The price is not bad. You just have to be careful and check for dates on thing. Eggs and produce along with almond milk and cheese is alot cheaper than our local grocery store. So if I am not heading into Bloomington where Sam's or another store is at that will do for the convenience. I definitely get grossed out by any meat that is packaged like hamburger, sausage or chicken. You should do another one with color or have the person in front of you order for you.
