Oh boy! Long time coming but I decided to try my luck in making a HW35 style map in Trackmania Canyon. I am pretty satisfied with the result. Unfortunately there are limiting restrictions on the vertical length of a track in Trackmania but I still think that the map captures the essence of the Cliffside Realm. My PB on this map is 3:01:04. High level drivers will easily go sub 3 mins but not by much. Special thanks to Dashie from the HW discord for letting me use his track textures. The track meshes were made by me in 3ds max.

dude - that is so sweet! I was the concept designer for the cliff side realm in the Acceleracers series. You defintely caught the essence of the track.

Wait, what! You actually designed a realm! You basically made my childhood! I know this for story people, but the first time I drove in heavy rain, hurricane stuff, I remembered the storm, and the water realm. You guys saved me, I would have went off the road if I didn't have those lessons.

You just made me remember so much about my childhood. I couldn’t stop watching the accelerator movies until I was 11 and I am now 18. Ugh I miss watching these lesrning about every car, every track. I love this so much.

The Hotwheels expansion map is amazing though you gotta admit. They even put it in the right setting, the beach. California, surf boards, muscle beach, summer of '69. You get the point. They made it perfect. California is where HotWheels originated

If anything, I would find a team of game makers to make an actual Acceleracers game. If it sold well, there would be a rebirth of toys to life fad with additional tools that would be an accelecharger reader. You could buy the accelechargers... but the better way would be to win the actual things in tournaments. And it wouldn’t be a trophy of sorts, no. It actually has an effect on gameplay.
This is so freaking cool! Would love to see acceleracer cars in this game, but this is amazing none the less! Please post more!

World Race cars are more durable
@@CaptainFALKEN actually no in the game yes but in the series no cuz all of the world race cars were either completely destroyed or weren't able to run or missing in the storm realm.
@@mafyboy0420 Your comment made no sense. I clearly said "World Race cars are more durable" which is true in every way in the series. No car ever got scratched, neither did anyone die or end up missing. The Acceleracers cars all were clonky and tore apart easily. They tore them up in Acceleracers to make the realms look tougher. All the crashing in World Race barely phased any car or driver. They're just weak in Acceleracers and the animation wasn't as good. Neons were dumb, also. All the flash in Acceleracers was just rice to appeal more to kids. World Race was all action and mind-blowing scenes.
@@CaptainFALKEN first no. The cars getting damaged didnt mean they were weaker, if I am correct, none of these cars except for like 3 passed to the acceleracers. Second, the teku customizing style reflected the car culture of the time, so thats ehy it is stylized, also, of course it Will appeal to kids, its a kids movie dumbass
@@lucastekkan PREACH!! World race didn't have the heart that acceleracers had. The plot and the implementation of real driving obstacles (though exaggerated) was far more prominent in Acceleracers.

When you've got 2 sequential inline 8 engines and paddle shifters there really isn't a more superior car.
It's literally an engine block with wheels... I'm amazed there's even room for a seat.

The test of keeping a good speed to try and win the race while still being patient enough take sharp turns is quite the contrast, remaking it in trackmania is brilliant

The multiplayer racing is all ghosted. It's more of a time trail where you run the course over and over trying for the fastest time you can.

Apart from the wrong details on some of the car models, this really looks awesome. I oddly had the Scorchers theme playing inside my head whilst watching this.
The coolest part is that everything looks pin point ESPECIALLY the cars!! This was one of the coolest shows to me growing up since I loved HotWheels

This brought back so many memories. I used to watch Hot Wheels movies when I was a kid and around middle school. I thought it was one of the best movies I've ever seen and I've watched Acceleracers too but I don't have all of the films but I had a blast watching those cars go fast.
