Solar PV is very dangerous when mounted poorly, codes are being upgrade every day as they find better ways to improve the security of the system. Saying it is perfectly safe is not true. A recent US/UK code advise not to put quick DC disconnect switch as most new inverter come with one already, adding the quick disconnect switch bring unnecessaries risk as DC arc is very difficult to stop. A simple TH-cam search will show many house burning cause by PV solar in US, Australia and even UK. Just like cars, just because people have accidents do not mean we shall not drive a car, it need to be done safely, following codes and standards.
