My cousin showed me how to beat that terminal room. I couldn't figure out once you got to the bottom you needed to swing back and forth to you got to the switch and then the keyboard. He died of cancer a couple years later In like the 2000s after I got into Halo. But I haven't forgotten what he taught me for this game so I went back and beat this Game. Thanks for reminding me something cool in my childhood from great family members whom I very much miss.
Random fact: In the PSone version of the game, the Terminal Room level is the only part of the game that takes full advantage of both analogue sticks. The rest of the game however just uses the standard tank controls.
I'm certainly glad yourself and others enjoy them. I do try and cover games that haven't been looked at by other channels if I can help it. Mainly, I just cover games I enjoyed/enjoy ha. If you have any suggestions, let me know, and I'll add them to my list.
It's fun to see how much they were able to pack onto an N64 cartridge back then. I played this game on PlayStation back in the day. In that version, there was full voice acting, higher fidelity music, and all the cutscenes were pre-rendered with plenty of lens flare! The map geometry was mostly the same, with slightly different textures, and there were reflection rooms in the embassy bathroom and on the floor of the server room. You also got a FMV of the developers doing silly things during the credits, instead of an embassy level full of employees.
Man.... This is one of the games I truly love, it has such a unique feeling... Is amazing to see a video like this with secrets and interesting things After these years. Now I want to play it again in the Nintendo 64.
Thanks for watching Captain! It was a tough one for sure. I remember getting stuck in a few places as it wasn't always so obvious what you had to do haha.
I thought it was funny he said there were other similarities between this game and Goldeneye, because i feel like thas always been the crisitism of M:I as a whole..that its just James Bond for television
Since when has that EVER “been the criticism of M:I as a whole”? Care to back that up with a source? It doesn’t matter what you feel, because Mission: Impossible is absolutely NOT “just James Bond for television.” They're only similar if you take a surface level approach to spy thrillers that appeals to the lowest common denominator. While M:I was a product of the 60’s spy craze brought about by the Bond movies, it was inspired by the 1964 heist film Topkapi, and it shows in the program’s basic formula. Whereas James Bond works alone, Jim Phelps works with a team of Impossible Missions Force agents. While 007 kills the bad guys, the IMF orchestrates an elaborate scheme to bring about their downfall. As Martin Landau, who played Rollin Hand on the show, stated in an interview, “Mission was a mind game. The ideal mission was getting in and getting out without anyone ever knowing we were there.” In other words, the only reason why you “thought it was funny” is because of an unfounded claim that serves to perpetuate a false equivalence.
I’ve been watching your videos for a couple of months now and i’ve been especially loving your “out of bounds” content and i was wondering if you’d be willing to do any tomb raider out of bound videos, i do recommend 2007’s anniversary but i’m pretty sure if you do any it’d be amazing !!
Gee Golystine. (i remember it was mispelled in the corridor level where you get his mask.) This was one of the scariest N64 games I ever played. Idk why I guess it just seems so surreal especially when it'd bug out. From the invincible guard to the infirmary and the guy running through the wall off the window exit. Another time the snow level with the helicopter, I had a guard from the embassy come running in to arrest me while I was in the armory room. I'd often leave my system on for days so I expect it was some memory overflow but gawd dang it scared the hell out of me.
Forget how I did it but in the second time you visit that snow map. I somehow glitched the other side and I was able to see all the guards from the cutscene just standing there and not doing anything. As cheesy and clunky as the game is tho. It’s actually really good and clever
4:44 Looks so cool like if it was actually in the game! :O Did you mod the game to add it in, or you somehow edited the video...? Modding the game seems more likely. Another great video, thank's a lot for making it!!!
You should do one on BF3's campaign! IIRC you could get out of the map on every mission, and there's one with a flyable helicopter and another with a drivable SUV found nowhere else in the game
I haven't seen this video on my subscription page, I just discovered it 😢 I absolutely adore the old games and I'm currently playing system shock 2 on PC, it's not easy but I love the graphic and the sounds, this video brings me back to my childhood + I'm a big mission impossible fan of the movies, need to find time to see the dead reckoning Part one 😅😅
How did you got out of bounds thou? Is there some tool to use for N64 Games? Also, on which emulator do you run this, it looks so smooth! Love your content! ❤
Awesome video!!!! Can you get me an image grab of the scary cg render Ethan face from the opening titles without the mission impossible logo at the bottom? I want to make a fake IMF badge with that picture.
Just played through on PS1 tonight after beating it 200000 times on N64. The extra detail in some missions that actually change the "feel" of them and hilariously bad voice acting makes a difference. The train chapter in particular seeing the forest outside the windows was something else and made me want to just stand/watch. The pre-rendered cutscenes use the same models/animation/textures as the N64 (that run in realtime) but with that 90's CGI "hyper-real" flat lighting/shadows/effects. It's also missing the secret level where you can meet the devs and fight them. Also fuck the gunboat mission on Impossible.
The little monkey thing with the red swirl on its face reminds me of Kratos from God of War. I wonder if anyone who worked on this game had anything to do with GoW. 🤔👍👍 I never played this game as I never owned an N64 but I'd like to see them remake this game for modern consoles.
Damm Nintendo... if it wasn't for the Dolphin emulator, none of this would be possible. And yet they strike against emulators, such as Doplhin's Steam release... Just why..
Fun Fact: Mission Impossible was the last motion picture from a major studio to be released on Betamax
I find that what usually follows the phrase "fun fact" is in fact not fun at all but this time I was pleasantly surprised
I enjoyed this and shall add it to my fun fact repertoire. many thanks

You’re the first content creator I watch to cover this game I used to LOVE IT when I was a kid thank you 🙏 ❤
You're back! 🎉

I think it's super cool that you cover games that generally would never get out-of-bounds/free camera videos made for them on other channels :)
I'm certainly glad yourself and others enjoy them. I do try and cover games that haven't been looked at by other channels if I can help it. Mainly, I just cover games I enjoyed/enjoy ha. If you have any suggestions, let me know, and I'll add them to my list.
@@SlippySlides Are you going to do a free camera video for any Barbie games?
@@SlippySlides PLEASE CAN U DO MY FAV GAME DOGMA ?? SINCE U LOVE RE CAMERA CAPCOM WILL SATISFY U

I love this game.
Thank you for covering the games literally no one else will. AVGN not liking this game felt very forced.
This is quality content you can’t compare. Love your videos my friend. ❤
Thank you as always for the support!
Great video slippy! Always enjoy seeing old games on here like this
Thanks as always for the support!
The weird thing in the medicine cabinet is a remote-control assassin. I saw them in an infomercial for $39.99.
07:07 - it looks like a quill feather inside an inkpot to me.
Ahh yes! I can see what you mean.
One of the weirdest games from my childhood
Thanks for this! I want a 2 hour deep dive into the development of this game...
Man.... This is one of the games I truly love, it has such a unique feeling... Is amazing to see a video like this with secrets and interesting things After these years. Now I want to play it again in the Nintendo 64.
Yeaaah! Slippy is finally back! 😎
I got so stuck on the fireman level as a kid haha good times
Me too bro. Good times indeed.
Thanks for watching Captain! It was a tough one for sure. I remember getting stuck in a few places as it wasn't always so obvious what you had to do haha.
You should cover RE6 I always wondered if that game had out of bounds secrets
I thought it was funny he said there were other similarities between this game and Goldeneye, because i feel like thas always been the crisitism of M:I as a whole..that its just James Bond for television

As always a amazing job on this. Please keep doing these videos.
It's always a good day whenever there's a Slippy upload

another great video -- did you end up making a short video about the similarities in this game and goldeneye?
I dont think I got this video in my subscriptions?
I watch all your videos, so not sure how I missed this one.
Thanks for watching the videos. I'm glad you found it in the end!
Great content as always. Can you do another out of bounds from game 007 Racing PSX ? Thank you

2:21 In PS1 version, you can explore this area using the Super jumps cheat.
4:44 Looks so cool like if it was actually in the game! :O
Did you mod the game to add it in, or you somehow edited the video...?
Modding the game seems more likely.
Another great video, thank's a lot for making it!!!
I think that is the opening cinematic for the level, but it seemed faster in his video than in normal gameplay. The camera pans around the level.
Just seeing this one and I liked your sign at 4:44.
12:31 ethan out of bounds all alone 😂😂😂
You should do one on BF3's campaign! IIRC you could get out of the map on every mission, and there's one with a flyable helicopter and another with a drivable SUV found nowhere else in the game
Yeah, why cover up that blurry alien picture on the desk? Lol, interesting. Great vid.
The embassy that was fun the first bit but the second half underneath ifound extremely difficult
The “little red monkey” looks more like an alien from SPC
I haven't seen this video on my subscription page, I just discovered it 😢

Help! Help! Someone's killed the pianist!
The little clown thing holding a knife might have been an ICP nod 🤷♂️
With regard to this game, all i have to say is: “There it is!”
This is pretty cool
Love me some Slippy content
Awesome video!!!! Can you get me an image grab of the scary cg render Ethan face from the opening titles without the mission impossible logo at the bottom? I want to make a fake IMF badge with that picture.
How did you get free-camera control on this game? Or any other N64 game for that matter.
Just played through on PS1 tonight after beating it 200000 times on N64. The extra detail in some missions that actually change the "feel" of them and hilariously bad voice acting makes a difference. 12:09 Always glad to see a familliar flag in a videogame :>

Hi! Will you ever explore Subnautica, or is it too open ended for there to be anything interesting?
Wassgood slippy
suggestion: you should do a video about starfield.
Please do god of war 1-3 there is so much you could show in those games
I've you could do a video on amnesia the bunker that would be awesome
You should do Batman Rise of SinTuz
Can you do resident evil outbreak out of bounds?
4:43 planted or part of the game slippy? clever regardless.
That was a little easter egg of my own just for the video and a bit of fun for viewers. It's normally a plant ha.
The thing in the pill cabinet reminds me of the Insane Clown Posse.
Damm Nintendo... if it wasn't for the Dolphin emulator, none of this would be possible. And yet they strike against emulators, such as Doplhin's Steam release...
Just why..
Plase cheat code mission impossible n64 caméra fov distance
I like the N64 version better than PS1, because the voice acting on PS1 was atrocious. 😡
Damn me for having to go to work while I jusst found this.
Man do more videos.
I'd love to. Ideally, I'd like to put out at least 2 a month but they take a long time to create. Time I don't have ha.
That monkey is clearly holding a pen in an inkwell. Still out of place but...
Yeah, another viewer comment too. Now you mention it, it definitely looks like that. Still be interesting to find out for sure!
Try to do Elden Ring.
