I have been in mallorca 30 times. Have tried other places, but my hearts always wants to go back. I have also lived there for 3 months. Amazing island 💖 Was in Alcudia for 2 weeks in april/may and are going back in august to Can Picafort, then also for 2 weeks. I have already booked a 3 weeks trip for next year in april/may, then also Alcudia. Those who havent been there, you need to go. My favourites are alcudia, because og the stunning beach and the cozy old town. Cala dor is different, several small bitches and just beautiful. Take a trip to Playa de Romantica outside Porto Cristo 😍
Yeah,Mallorca is really beautiful...for a holiday,because living here,and work really early atte morning at summer its a torture,the tourists are always drunk,screaming at night and they dont let you sleep,but,hey,its ok,they are tourists and they are so protected by the police,they can do anything,they can use drugs un front of then,It wont happen anything,they can have a fight with everyone,the police only take them to their hotel and thats it. They leave the beaches full of crashed glass bottles,that every summer a lot of people have to go to the hospital because they have a fucking glass un the feet. And thats not all,if you live here,if you re a spanish woman they can touch you if they want,the police wont do anything,they are just going todo say:They're tourists, They're drunk,its ok. Things like this makes Mallorca a beautiful hell un summer,thanks, tourists :) Pd:Not all the tourists are always drunk,im just talking about the younger ones,well,sometimes the elders too,but not that intensity.
I totally agree with you. I am not from there, but I travelled there. The least tourists can do is try to learn some Spanish, respect the culture and people and stop acting like animals... You’ve got such a beautiful island, I hope you can still enjoy some raw parts of it. Also everyone was talking to me in German for some reasons. I dont understand it and I was answering in Spanish 😂
Hi I am coming to Mallorca in August and I like a drink or two but I know my limits there is no excuse to make a nuisance of yourself I always show respect to the people of the country I am visiting little things like being able to say please and thank you in the language of the country you are in goes down well with local people sometimes I am ashamed of my nationality because of later louts with football shirts , anyway I am looking forward to my holiday with , I am sure very nice people of Mallorca
I'm coming from a ''not rich'' family, working a lot in a foreign country to get a life in the future, and after working 3 years without stop, we finally decided to take a nice holiday with my wife at a nice place, before we start the baby project. We chose Majorca. No regrets, totally worth every euro of it. We were in the north side of the island, Port de Pollenta, Alcudia. Playa de Muro is the best to go swimming. Long beach, shallow, blue, clean water. Ideal for familys also. Only thing I missed are local clubs, would have been good to go out to dance a night or two. Guess the northern part lacks these clubs, Palma probably has plenty. Can recommend to anyone. Also, my advice is to rent a car, they are super cheap, and opens up a lot of possibilities to drive around and see nice places. Gracias to all Majorcans for the great memories!

I was brought up as a child there, before the package tourism started. Mallorca was wilder then and as a child of eight I could spend all day climbing hills, swimming in the sea (virtually empty beaches). My parents had a large boat and we sailed around the island discovering hidden coves, unreachable by land. I spoke Mallorquin fluently and loved the Mallorquin people, who taught me to weave baskets. My heart is always there. It has changed so much, but underneath the changes, the island still retains is unending magic. It draws the heart forever, to those who understand her. Her history tells you many stories of ancient times. I wish I could spend my last days there, the island which taught me so much.
Man. Think. You are right! I witnessed the start of the local people’s destruction both morally and economically. Families splitting was unheard of - until tourism invaded. Farm lands and fincas which had belonged to them for generations were sold to the tourism giants. I am cognisant of the fact that under Franco they had lived more or less hand to mouth, so they were sitting ducks to the lure of money and a ‘better life’. Now they are slaves to tourism and the old ways have passed. But underneath it all, the spirit of the island still remains the same. You are very fortunate to live there!
Mallorca and the Balearic Islands are suffering exploitation, it's not a Paradise anymore since millions of tourists come every summer without caring about the landscape, our gastronomy, our culture, our language, they only come to be drunk 24 hours being rude towards the locals. Everywhere it's packed, beaches are dirty, I find myself a total foreigner in my own home. This is a really sad and disturbing situation. :(
I think it's getting better. And also, it's many locals who pollute the pavements too. On food, there should be more local cuisine challenging the foreign fast food. To end it of, locals profit from tourists
I understand your concern very well. Luckily, not all tourists are that bad. I was on Majorca 2 years ago and we were super careful with your nature, beaches, cities etc. I can't understand how people can be rude when they're guests, how they can pollute this piece of heaven. Nah thats not true, every year im going on vacation to Cala d'Or but we are going to Mallorca because it is is a beautiful island and because the sea is very clear. My favourite place in Mallorca is Port de soller. Everything is so beautiful there it is like Paradise

Staggering great footage you have made. Majorca is undoubtedly one of the best places on earth to live. To my surprise you have caught a couple of places I haven’t been to yet, considering I have been living in the Isle for more than 11 years. Watching Majorca from the sky is one of the things I’d love eventually doing when I have the time and the money to hire a helicopter.

I love this Balearic Island. I was there this year with my friends. 2 weeks on April, and 2 more weeks on August with my wife :) she also loved it. Already have plans to visit it next year to 😀

Mallorca se ha convertido en una tierra de Alemanes y especuladores con precios desorbitados en todos los sentidos y calidad cada vez más baja en su gastronomía y hospedajes. Es una pena ya que es un paraíso pero sintiéndolo mucho horrorosamente explotado.
MIGUEL ARANDA si bien se puede hacer mucho mejor la gestión turística, decirte que cuando viajas por otras partes te das cuenta que no lo estamos haciendo tan mal, creo que existen sectores que odian al turista y que “alertan” sobre la masificación cuando la verdad es que la hay en determinados lugares puntuales y en días específicos. Pero en general se puede vivir estupendamente incluso en verano y también visitarla sin problemas. Es un lugar con muy buenos precios comparando con destinos similares, por no hablar de la estupenda gente isleña que aunque harta de los visitantes vandálicos sabe ver las diferencias con aquellos otros que nos dejan riqueza y vivencias compartidas

Yo estoy a favor que venga el Turismo, lo que no estoy de acuerdo son con los precios tan desorbitados que hay a costa de ello en cualquier barrio de Mallorca no hablemos ya del casco Histórico y de los Alquileres o precios de la Vivienda. Soy Andaluz pero llevo muchas décadas aquí y adoro está Isla y su gente pero deberían pensar que aquí también hay muchos trabajadores que viven todo el año, no me gusta que especulen con mi direro o se rían de mí cuando voy a desayunar, comer por ahí o pagar un alquiler pidiendo el Oro cuando te ofrecen el Moro, eso es lo que tanto he criticado de manera constructiva siempre , porque al final tendré que dejar la Isla e irme. Mallorca se ha convertido en una tierra de Alemanes y especuladores con precios desorbitados en todos los sentidos y calidad cada vez más baja en su gastronomía y hospedajes. Es una pena ya que es un paraíso pero sintiéndolo mucho horrorosamente explotado.
MIGUEL ARANDA si bien se puede hacer mucho mejor la gestión turística, decirte que cuando viajas por otras partes te das cuenta que no lo estamos haciendo tan mal, creo que existen sectores que odian al turista y que “alertan” sobre la masificación cuando la verdad es que la hay en determinados lugares puntuales y en días específicos. Pero en general se puede vivir estupendamente incluso en verano y también visitarla sin problemas. Es un lugar con muy buenos precios comparando con destinos similares, por no hablar de la estupenda gente isleña que aunque harta de los visitantes vandálicos sabe ver las diferencias con aquellos otros que nos dejan riqueza y vivencias compartidas
@@ceciliagriseldahb5749 En verano no cabemos, no se qué experiencia tendrás tú de Mallorca, pero basta ver como están ya los polígonos con coches de alquiler. En dos meses todos esos coches llenarán la isla y todos esos turistas nos invadirán haciéndonos imposible el disfrute de nuestra propia casa.

Yo estoy a favor que venga el Turismo, lo que no estoy de acuerdo son con los precios tan desorbitados que hay a costa de ello en cualquier barrio de Mallorca no hablemos ya del casco Histórico y de los Alquileres o precios de la Vivienda. Soy Andaluz pero llevo muchas décadas aquí y adoro está Isla y su gente pero deberían pensar que aquí también hay muchos trabajadores que viven todo el año, no me gusta que especulen con mi direro o se rían de mí cuando voy a desayunar, comer por ahí o pagar un alquiler pidiendo el Oro cuando te ofrecen el Moro, eso es lo que tanto he criticado de manera constructiva siempre , porque al final tendré que dejar la Isla e irme. De todas formas muchas gracias por tu comentario.
