"I know an awful lot of people think when they go to work at first what they want is leisure time and what I like is actually having more problems to solve."
This answer from Greg on AI would concern me as a shareholder……
That didn't sound very reassuring
Ask this guy about Coca-Cola and insurance not AI lol
Aka, the 1970s 😂
Exactly finally a brain lol
what is wrong with what he said?
@eoj096 maybe cannot conceptualize the world we live in today. Billionaires protect their way of life because they haven't evolved technologically.
I used one of those AI apps that promise to build you a flawless girlfriend robot....but it came back saying "sorry we couldn't build one that desperate".
I think that if you read between the lines, there is a hint that investing in leisure industries could be a smart move...
invest in weed

😂@@xwahhayah7867
But how people will pay for leisure if they don’t have income from work? You can benefit only if you target your services to people supervising AI or these who inherited an inheritance.
Or in something that creates addiction and/or dependency. But honestly, not as easy as it sounds.
"Leisure time" is a fun way to say jobless and homeless.
At some point it makes sense to stop speaking publicly. The time for these guys has long past. This is what momentum looks like.
AI / EV combine in the Tech sector. FSRN Climbed 148 % month. Fisker. 4 potential acquisition Buyout offers. Ocean Suv EVs longest range in it's class.. BFRG.. Bullfrog AI.... Polestar... SoundHound... Xos Trucks... Palantir, more.
A.I. a genie? Be careful what you wish for.
interests, pastimes, passions, diversions, journeys, adventures, and novelty like games and building. Ya, labor of love, sweat, no tears. Take things apart, and laugh at the problems to solve, the future is wide open and limitless. Take your time, time is on your side.
Executive Summary : they have no clue at all. Still, I do adore them
AI won't create leisure. Just like all of the other technology in business, email, MIcrosoft Teams, Texting back and forth when a quick phone call would have worked quicker. It's another technology that will add to your workload because you'll ask a yes and no question to your boss through an email and he/she will use AI to respond, but AI will write a long winded two page response meanwhile you just needed a yes or no response. AI will just be another office tool that will add to the office shanaigans.
no it won't lol. if you believe that, you don't know anything about it. there's already been tens of thousands of people laid off in big tech, despite record profits. graphic designers are getting replaced. programmers are getting replaced. bookkeepers are probably next. AI already scores higher on accounting, medical, and attorney certifications than 90% of professionals.
It will create leisure time because most people will be unemployed. When a $10/month subscription can do your entire job better than you can, why would a business keep you? The last writer's strike was literally just to avoid being replaced by AI. You are literally years behind on your AI knowledge friend.
You better not! My hero, the oracle!
While Buffett's may not be an expert on AI, we do want to ask him this question. The reason is that we really need to train AI to be able to think like Buffett and accomplish what he's done.
Im hoobiest progammer. AI is actually helping me to learn "coding" faster than a tutor. It give you 10X support rather than stopping them. Nowaday I just say "write a program where you start a server" in C or python or Golang and it just goes and "codes" for me. It so easy. AI is a tool like cycle, its a motor powered cycle.
Does the code that comes out resemble your vision and design?
Let’s assume the code you obtained does all of what you requested.
But how do you check and verify it doesn’t do any negative things you’d expect it not to do?
Then, how would you verify it doesn’t have any security vulnerabilities, or at least catches suspicious attempts?
@@gideonk123 Well thats the learning part, I guess. One can test the code in editor enviorment and edit untill one gets the intended effect. Its not perfect, but it better than not know how and where to start which often the case
Short answer:
They have no clue.
Buffy needs a haircut ✂️
😊
You should run against Biden!
hi Warren !!!!!!!! lols........
I don't understand why Buffett's opinion on AI matters. He's far from an expert on anything related to cutting edge tech.
AI is an incremental tool just like all the tools humanity has built before. Nothing to be afraid of, just start picking it up and using it.
because we're in the 4th industrial revolution, and big changes bankrupt a lot of companies. Shareholders want to know his company is planning ahead. AI will likely replace hundreds of millions of jobs within a decade. Graphic designers and writers aren't using it. They're losing their jobs to it, already. Programmers too. No desk job is safe. And once humanoid robots are a little better, very few jobs in general are safe. That's not an incremental tool. That's the beginning of a new epoch.
If the rate of progress continues at the same rate, where will we be in 5 years?
No one knows. That is the danger and promise of AI
AI is not an incremental tool. It is a revolutionary tool. It will be improved incrementally until the singularity where AI improves itself at an immense pace where would have no idea what’s happening. At least physics and physical matter such as computers and energy would somewhat halt the progress.
Thats one opinion. The opposite could also be true.
My biggest concern is ai with NUCLEAR WEAPONS, they must NEVER be allowed near them. The only dangerous countries is IRAN and NORTH KOREA, where there is no control, they may play with ai with the nukes
I don’t think you understand AI, there is no purpose to have AI with nukes… That is a weird concern. A more valid concern can be don’t allow nukes to be connected to the internet otherwise it would be potentially possible to hack and launch the nukes. AI could be useful in the hacking process. So someone with nukes wouldn’t put AI with nukes that concept doesn’t make sense.
@@johnnybravo964 I agree however still the most dangerous countries are Iran and North Korea, goodness knows what they are up to

These two gentle have no idea about AI.
AI is vaporware.
Everyday it becomes less and less so. Especially since some companies have put the GPT models from OpenAI into a robotic form factor.
I think there’s still a long road ahead but to call it vaporware is profoundly undermining.
GPTs & LLMs didnt roll out of bed in 2023 or 2024. They have been worked on for the greater half of 10-20 years. With the last few increasing seriously due to the semiconductors and chips being manufactured.
AI is already used all over the place, your credit card fraud detection, Xray/MRI detection, Tesla FSD, Advertising Ad click optimization, ChatGPT, Google Email spam detection, on and on. When you think of AI, you are thinking about AGI, but in reality AI is already used all over the place. Think of AI as just statistics and modeling. Is statistics and math vaporware?
Yeah he is old, but that's no excuse for not educating himself about AI, he can't be a good investor if he doesn't know about the new industrial revolution
Buffett should retire.
Old rich billionaires don't really know much about our modern world today. But we sure care a lot about what they think.
What an awful thing to show as content.
what is wrong with what he said?
It’s literally Warren Buffet. chill
That's what Young people have being saying about him for decades and time always proves them wrong and him right.
With all due respect to Buffet - Neither does he know about Bitcoin....
Bitcoin is fundamentally regarded
