- Toggle switches, knobs, Bigsby - you know Jon can't keep his hands off them. This gorgeous Gretsch Brian Setzer Signature Nashville gives him plenty to stay occupied with during this review. And he gives it a great run-through, as always. It's a great sounding, uniquely voiced guitar - and it seriously is a great player. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better build and attention to detail anywhere!
As we expected, this particular guitar sold before the day was through, but, hey - that's why they make more of them! We'll have another soon!

0:18 finally, someone actually plays the song I know this guitar for!
Gretch, the guitar I never knew I needed! I have a hot rod model, but would love to move into one of these, really beautiful guitar. I just wish I would have tried a Gretch 20 years ago.
I have the Brian Setzer 6120. Love it! Mine has "dice" volume and tone controls.
They sound good on a blowed out Friedman with the mids cranked
Bro, if those pups are anything like my high sensitive filtertrons, most of my tone comes from fiddling with the tone on the amp-little volume for clean and then crankin’ back the tone to round 8 o’clock to get a cleaner tone then crank depending on wether I want it warmer brighter or dirtier-these guitars (if similar because of their hot sensitive character) already have so much heat in comparison to low output pickups (like I was use too)…long story short, there are a lot more to these guitars and pickups than meets the eye-or ears for that matter. God bless you! Thanks for sharin’.

Are these hard to keep in tune? I’m undecided between this or a Gibson 335.
With that locking tuners it is very solid to stay in tune, even with abusing of the Bigsby. But I have the Steve Wariner model, that it comes with a 25.5 scale length and a wound third string. Anyway, my Gibson ES-235 needs retuned very often, the Gretsch do not.
this one has locking tuners. and have a player's addition with locking tuners. the guitar stays in tune well.
If I were ever going to buy a Signature guitar, it would be this one.
And I don't even really care for Grestch overall.
Why, you ask?
Mojo!
Mud Switch. Just how much mud does one need? I like it up tp my waist. Although I do like Tone Toggle.
Is this different to the Setzer SSLVO?
Different pickups and the finish is almost a matte
I think the best thing of this Gretsch is the soft V neck and its compound radius. I have the Steve Wariner model and I consider it a way much versatile and meaty sound than this one. If I have the money I would buy this Setzer too!
So far you have used almost 10,000 persons time, that is about 2,500 hours in total. You could have prepared for this review before shooting it.
mud switch usage is a good way of showing you don't like the tone of filtertrons. so just don't, just go review a prs or something more appropriate for your interest.
You need too shut off your amp You are getting a lot of buzz in the back ground while you are talking.
