They also sell in person (like how they sold my iPad) as they want quick cash and little to no one tracking what they do. also don't want to be rude but the police don't really care that much about break ins unless they have info. :) have a good day
100% sounds like a female/viewer! A random break in doesn't target the closet or makeup, they are usually there for things of value to them like cash, tvs, sound systems ect.. because to a male or a lowlife who breaks into people's house's don't know the value of high end makeup or what expensive clothes look like or could even wear them.. And it sucks that anyone would do it, I am so sorry and I hope you find the asshat that did it! keep an eye on selling pages/markets/pawn shops for anything familiar! don't give up hope, they found our belongings 3 months after the break in. xx

Earlier this year I was broken into as well. We found out that the people that did it were only 14 or 15. That took all of mums jewellery but the sad thing with that is she past away with cancer when I was only 5. They took her wedding ring all of her necklaces her engagement ring. They took my sisters surface pro my phone the family laptop all of my step mums jewellery and a few bottles of alcohol. They also took y dads wedding ring that he used when he was married to my mum. It was one of the hardest things I have been through. But now I know that they are just stupid low life's her don't mean anything in this world. I was extremely lucky because they didn't take a Pandora bracelet my mum left for me that she used to wear all the time and they also didn't take a Pandora bracelet I got from Disney Land.
People are such low life's! I'm so sorry that happened and I'm in no way excusing their behaviour but just know your mum loves you and you don't need any of her possessions to know xx In saying that though, I really hope they got punished, honestly what are 14-15 year olds doing nowadays?
I generally feel for you, in 2012 I was home with my brother when two men broke into my house.. They smashed through my front door with axes and broke almost everything in my house as they made their way through.. I locked myself in the toilet and called 000 as i listened on to my brother being beaten for money. It was totally random, we didn't know them or why they did it but they changed my life forever, yes they got caught and did jail time but when someone comes into your safe place it no longer feels safe.. I left uni,my job and even had to move out. 3 years later I'm now just getting over my experience. Highly suggest you get some really good security if you haven't already!, just be so thankful no one got hurt X

I know the feeling ALL TOO WELL! My home was broken into as well..a couple of years ago when I was on a family vacation. They took several designer handbags, multiple TVs, computers, jewelry, gaming systems, a lot of my clothes, etc. The feeling of violation is so hard to describe. I couldn't do anything but cry after walking into our home after flying back into town. Shout out to your mom for cleaning up the mess before you got home!! I am so sorry this happened to you last year. This actually happened to me earlier this year & yeah, it sucks. They also took random stuff from me like makeup & other stuff. The most expensive thing they took was my computer, which I was thankfully able to replace with insurance money. The cop that looked over the house when we found out about the break in thought that the people were possibly looking for guns, which thankfully mine was very well hidden so they didn't get to it. I'm really proud of you for being brave enough to share this with us.

Literally, you're so lovely Shani and whoever did this too you may not know that but they are the ones who have to live with what they did and you on the other hand get to wake up everyday knowing that you work hard for the things you own and know that people love you for the genuine person that you are. This is the thing with TH-camrs. Their lives are so public. My dad's really anal about not mentioning if I'm going away or if the house will be empty for an extended period on Facebook or whatever, and literally nobody cares about my life, whereas TH-camrs basically advertise these things to potentially millions of strangers, and have to as part of putting their life out there in videos. And as a creepy as it is, people can very easily find out where somebody lives thanks to the Internet, especially if it's someone as high profile as Shani. I hope you're okay, Shani, and hopefully this is the only time you'll ever have to experience such a terrifying thing x

I am soooo sorry your house got broken into doll! When I was younger my house got broken into, and they literally took everything. Not only that but they went out of their way to basically destroy all of our tv's, furniture, etc.. I was probably 13, and I had saved up a bunch of random change from doing chores and such around the house.. and of course they stole it. Literally the smallest amount of change that I was so proud of. I can totally relate to the bullshit you went through. The best advice I can give is to believe in trusting again! Even though its harder than hell, keep your circle of friends as minimal as it needs to be to make you feel secure.. To give you all of the support and love you need to move on from this! Just my opinion, but maybe think about who you're friends with and who you bring back to your new place. It sounds paranoid but you're in the spotlight, and sadly it sounds like someone you may know or a follower. It's probably a good idea not to do an apartment tour either. Sorry to hear this happened. This is fucked. I feel absolutely devastated for you, no one deserves this. It does sound really weird, like a subscriber/follower or someone who knows one simply due to the fact that they took all your makeup & clothes on top of everything else. It's just so shitty because all your belongings, electronics, clothes, makeup, personal items etc are such a big refection of all the hard work you've put in over the years to get where you are. Obviously having nice things isn't everything, but to have someone violate your home and just take everything you've worked so hard for is just not right. I know this may be hard to hear but... it might have been a "friend." My home was burglarized and the police discovered it was an inside job. My "friend" and her boyfriend and their friend knew i was on vacation and took advantage of the fact they knew the layout and what not.

It sounds like the person who broke into your house knows you and knows that you were out of country. It takes a long time to steal 'everything' which means they knew they had a lot of time to take from your house. Also the fact that they took your makeup suggests that it was a girl as well or someone who knew you had that stash. The same thing happened to my boyfriends cousin, they went to NZ and they're house got broken into through the front door, and took Jewellery a laptop and the car. Sorry this happened to you! It must have been like everything you worked for got taken away from you and you don't even know who did it. But maybe it's creating space for lots of exciting new things to come ☺️

Prayers that everything is getting better with time! I work for an insurance agency and YES auto, home, contents, health, and LIFE insurance are SO SO SO important. They can be pricey, but the sooner you do it the better (and most cost effective)! There's so many different paying options. It is always a very good investment. If you work hard for your things, you must protect them! YOU know what it took to get those things, you know their worth. If anything, this was a learning experience and now you have grown even more from it. Hope all is well!!

I know the feeling ALL TOO WELL! My home was broken into as well..a couple of years ago when I was on a family vacation. They took several designer handbags, multiple TVs, computers, jewelry, gaming systems, a lot of my clothes, etc. The feeling of violation is so hard to describe. I couldn't do anything but cry after walking into our home after flying back into town. Shout out to your mom for cleaning up the mess before you got home!! Happy you're no longer down about it though! Way to bounce back! :)
Shani - my apartment was broken into last year as well. I completely relate to your story. It is a feeling like no other to know other people were in your personal space and with your personal belongings. Yes - the loss of personal and material items is frustrating (I had thousands of designer goods taken!) but what hurts the most is the fact that someone has taken away feelings of trust and safety in your home. I am so sorry this happened to you last year. This actually happened to me earlier this year & yeah, it sucks. They also took random stuff from me like makeup & other stuff. The most expensive thing they took was my computer, which I was thankfully able to replace with insurance money. The cop that looked over the house when we found out about the break in thought that the people were possibly looking for guns, which thankfully mine was very well hidden so they didn't get to it. I'm really proud of you for being brave enough to share this with us.

This is the thing with TH-camrs. Their lives are so public. My dad's really anal about not mentioning if I'm going away or if the house will be empty for an extended period on Facebook or whatever, and literally nobody cares about my life, whereas TH-camrs basically advertise these things to potentially millions of strangers, and have to as part of putting their life out there in videos. And as a creepy as it is, people can very easily find out where somebody lives thanks to the Internet, especially if it's someone as high profile as Shani. I hope you're okay, Shani, and hopefully this is the only time you'll ever have to experience such a terrifying thing x

I am soooo sorry your house got broken into doll! When I was younger my house got broken into, and they literally took everything. Not only that but they went out of their way to basically destroy all of our tv's, furniture, etc.. I was probably 13, and I had saved up a bunch of random change from doing chores and such around the house.. and of course they stole it. Literally the smallest amount of change that I was so proud of. I can totally relate to the bullshit you went through. The best advice I can give is to believe in trusting again! Even though its harder than hell, keep your circle of friends as minimal as it needs to be to make you feel secure.. To give you all of the support and love you need to move on from this! Quality, not quantity. Your real friendships will shine through the difficult times love!!

This is fucked. I feel absolutely devastated for you, no one deserves this. It does sound really weird, like a subscriber/follower or someone who knows one simply due to the fact that they took all your makeup & clothes on top of everything else. It's just so shitty because all your belongings, electronics, clothes, makeup, personal items etc are such a big refection of all the hard work you've put in over the years to get where you are. Obviously having nice things isn't everything, but to have someone violate your home and just take everything you've worked so hard for is just not right. It sounds like the person who broke into your house knows you and knows that you were out of country. It takes a long time to steal 'everything' which means they knew they had a lot of time to take from your house. Also the fact that they took your makeup suggests that it was a girl as well or someone who knew you had that stash.
The same thing happened to my boyfriends cousin, they went to NZ and they're house got broken into through the front door, and took Jewellery a laptop and the car.

So you have to replace everything but basically straight after it happened you went to Bali and went shopping every single day, stayed in hotels that were $800 + a night, food and drinks etc??
Prayers that everything is getting better with time! I work for an insurance agency and YES auto, home, contents, health, and LIFE insurance are SO SO SO important. They can be pricey, but the sooner you do it the better (and most cost effective)! There's so many different paying options. It is always a very good investment. If you work hard for your things, you must protect them! YOU know what it took to get those things, you know their worth. If anything, this was a learning experience and now you have grown even more from it. Hope all is well!!
