Monogram 1/48 Skyraider A1H video #2 assembly starts

The build is underway and so far things a really good 😊
You really have to think that these old Monogram kits are still really nice to build and would be a great way for a first build in 1/48

Looking good so far, Matt. That interior portion of the wings indicating a possible folding wing option, is interesting... I'd never heard of that before. Sounds like a plausible explanation, for sure.
As an aside, I always thought the cowling on the A-1 looked out of place, being do much smaller than that fat fuselage. But, after I read that the engine is the same as the ones on the B-29, I figured looks don't matter much when you have the horsepower to do the job!
