記憶中的安平，有溫暖海風的味道，還有巨大的橘色夕陽。
那一年，我們在筆直的大道上，跟夕陽賽跑，我們都輸給了時間，卻儲存了回憶，很美。

最熟悉的安平，依然是人煙稀少的日常小巷，
夜裡，沿著馬路彎進小徑，昏黃的靜謐取代了白天的鳥語花香。
循著悠遠的樂曲輕步踏行，來到了一座老宅門口，我探進屋裡，半掩的門片後，盤坐著一位悠然慈祥的伯伯手中正拉著二胡。
再走兩步，又一位白髮蒼蒼的老伯，佝僂身軀，緩步推著曾孫，在月下哄著他入睡。
而另一邊的胭脂巷裡，丈夫推著太太散步，掂起腳尖拉長身軀，只為了為她採下那朵她最喜歡的小黃花。她送了一朵他為她採下的小花給我。
我左手捧著小花，順手撿起了一顆還沒成熟的芒果放進口袋，幾週後，熟透的芒果，隨著安平帶回家的風景，成了亦甜亦香的記憶。
這是我的台南生活，
以自在和緩的步調，喜歡著這個地方，如同細水長流的愛情，就已足夠。
In my memory, Aping is filled with the smell of warm sea breeze and massive orange sunset.
That year, we raced with the sunset on that straight and broad avenue. We’ve all lost to time, but we still hold onto our memories, beautiful memories.
But those small and sparsely inhabited alleys I pass by daily are my most familiar sights of Aping. At night, following the main roads and turning into the alleys, quietude of the dusk replaces the lively scenes during the day. Following the melodies from a distance, I briskly walked towards the music and finally came upon the entrance to an ancient residence. I peeked inside the house and there sitting behind a half-opened door was an amiable-looking uncle playing the erhu leisurely. Walking forward a couple more steps, there was another silver-haired elderly uncle slowly pushing his great-grandchild with his hunched back, hoping that the baby would fall asleep under the moonlight. And at the rouge lane on the other side, a husband was pushing his wife for a stroll. He stood on the tip of his toes and stretched out his body - only because he wanted to pluck her favorite little yellow flower. And she gave me that little flower he had picked for her. With my left hand holding that little flower, I picked up on my way a mango that was not yet ripe and put it in my pocket. A few weeks later, the perfectly ripe mango, along with the sceneries l‘ve brought home from Amping, would be my
sweetest and most aromatic memories.
This is my life in Tainan - living in a carefree and mellow pace, I am fond of this place. Just like
an ordinary but lasting love, everything here is more than sufficient.
