The Taskmaster podcast described Mike Wozniak perfectly. Sarah Kendall: "He's the people's princess." Ed Gamble: "If I ever have kids, I want Mike Wozniak to be the father."
“its an absolute casserole down there” was one of the funniest things he could have ever said in that situation. this is not even an exaggeration i actually went numb from laughing to hard like that feeling you get when you go down the slope of a roller coaster
Please invite Mr. Mike Wozniak back as a contestant on a People's Choice version of Taskmaster! When I think of Taskmaster, I keep rebooting my brain and getting 'Mike' every time.
Excluding the Champions of each series, I feel a good line-up of ‘Peoples Choice’ Contestants would be: Joe Wilkinson, Mel Giedroyc, James Acaster, Mike Wozniak, & Fern Brady
Let's not forget how Mike undermined the vole. Because you know its got no chutzpah, its organizational skills were lackluster and its time keeping was abysmal.
I'd watched "Man Down" prior to this series of Taskmaster, and didn't fully appreciate just what a complete and utter treasure this man is. Mike truly gave his all in these challenges and seems like such a lovely person.
same thing except I’d only ever heard him on the Beef and Dairy Network podcast before this season, a podcast which definitely encapsulates his chaotic vibes better? and yet still doesn’t come even close
Mike is a delight in person. I have many happy memories of him hosting events at the Sean Bean Lounge and enlightening conversations over a non-discounted mocha drink at the Soup Dragon Café. He's a provincial dad we can all take a lesson from.
See, I remember reading this comment some time last year and wondering whether you were having a little joke with yourself - but people had upvoted your comment and I couldn't understand why. Now, _now_ I do understand and have thus also given you a thumbs up. 👍🏻 🫘
Cannot be his greatest moments without the mohawk, undermining the vole, saying it’s bamboo o’clock, or assuring Alex the rain isn’t his fault (after riding a hoverboard that could sense his impending dread) but good start 🙃
@@C.I... And yet there is no such thing as a carserole, is there? Even as a devout anti-Americanisms man myself, I’d be perfectly OK with surrendering that for the sake of a joke, no matter how funny (or otherwise) other people may or may not find it.
@@daniellamcgee4251 he definitely was toying with Greg about not knowing the show, he knew to search the wallet in the Deep Fried Items task and he was waiting for a two parter in that one
"It's an absolute casserole down there" is one of the funniest sentences ever spoken by a human. Is it the British diet that makes piles such a common topic of conversation on television? I've never heard so many references to haemorrhoids ( to honor the British spelling which honors the old French. Latin and Greek roots of the term) as on British Television. I have to say that my love of shows like this one is based on the freedom from the tight-assed American Soccer Mom mentality that polices humor based on the false idea that it will damage innocent children irrevocably.
In Britain we have a thing called the watershed - basically anything on TV after 9pm is uncensored and usually quite unsuitable for kids, and everyone knows this - so if you don't want your kids to be exposed to anything, just don't let them watch anything after the watershed. Unsurprisingly, taskmaster is after the watershed :p
Given the tone of the show, the possibility of Mike jumping over the fence and finding himself in some sort of extra-dimensional space bordered by cliffs that look strangely like Greg Davies' face is a non-zero chance.
I must say, I was having a bad day and I decided to look up some Mike Wozniak content and I have to say, my negatively has melted by some degree! NEVER underestimate the power of Mike Wozniak!
Mike Wozniak giving himself a hemorrhoid for TaskMaster is one of the greatest moments of dedication, only really rivaled by Josh Widdicombe literally getting a tattoo of Greg's name on his foot.
The very start of this video when Greg is prepping the typewriter could either be the actual sound of the typewriter itself or Mike squeezing out that haemorrhoid.
I do hope that one day the other beans make it to taskmaster, i think i would probably lose my mind, plus the 2 hour long asides by Henry, or the beefy bonus of Bonjamin

Forget champion of champions, we need a series with, Mike Wozniak, Bob Mortimer & Rhod Gilbert.
I've always said I thought Alex was lucky the "do the worst thing to Alex" task didn't come round when Rhod was on
Then throw in Charlotte Richie and Lucy Beaumont and you've got a legendary cast
add hugh dennis to the list
Mike is the treacle covered puppy of our hearts. No matter how hard I try to walk away, his sweet, sticky fur keeps showing up in my food. What?
What a beautiful metaphor
