I was perched atop the heliograph tower during set 2 and the encore. The energy that the crowd up there had from DWD to the end was incredible. Everyone was so nice, so much positivity and excitement, everyone belting out Number Line together was so cathartic. Overlooking a sea of people with a clear view of the stage and all of the lights during that YEM peak was a highlight of my life.
That weekend and especially Saturday night was life-changing. Best festival I've ever been to and just the most peaceful and loving and safe place and most free place on the planet that weekend.
Always good to see the upload. I usually wake up to it and watch it after the show on couch tour, but had a late night so we’ll go to sleep well tonight. FZaps remains the best.
Funniest line of the night. Mrs Spud said "I'm all Tweezered out" 😅 Solid show..lots of heavy hitters. Boogie on may have been my personal highlight. Kaboom 👊 😊
Meatstick is a throwback to Oswego when we tried to set the world record for number of people doing a synchronized dance! Though we were defeated by The Macarena. And that was the end of the 90s. 😂
I thought that we had the numbers to set the record. But the guines (wrong spelling) book said that we weren't synchronized enough to say that we were all dancing.

I was there too. First time seeing them. Holy shit that is a rock band. I didn't know a single song but it didn't matter. How can I access the livestream? Is it archived?
@@larryrulz5I got you fam! They live streamed the show last night. Not sure how long it’ll say up but it’s there now….. th-cam.com/video/D9nb90noRVY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=oaUyePTZETkVaDGN I’m in NY and was kicking myself for not going and then I realized they live streamed it. Highlight of the night was Amby crowd surfing while singing Billabong Valley. Gizz is tough to keep up with their catalog cuz they’re so damn prolific but hot damn you got a good one!
Antelope tmrw. 100%. -2400 . All the other Hall of Famer's that i listed previously have been played. Mikes/Weekapaug. Hood. YEM. Slave. Fluffhead. Tweezer. DWD. Bowie. With that said, I'm still feeling a Makisupa. A Guyute. And a Curtain. With or without. Also wouldn't be surprised if they played Gin, Coil, Jim, BOAF, or Cities.
I shouldn't talk because i have listened to any of it yet (or very little) But overall from a set list standpoint there have been very few soft songs/Ballads. Leading up to fest they were hitting us with Train Song, Brian Robert , Fikus, If I Could etc. I mean they got Bouncing, and Mountain's.
The obvious best night of the run but they were all great. N4 had great songs but the energy was a little off because of the situation. But all in all a great 4 night run. But n3 is absolute gold!
@@cjl-tp6siI tend to agree. What’s the longest jam of the fest? I thought we’d be breaking the 40 min mark multiple times. And with no curfew do we really need to cut at 11 sharp?
One of the reasons I didn’t go is the show format - kinda looked like Dicks East to me with some installments. Everyone I know there is having a blast and the playing isn’t bad. Just the fest is usually the hallmark of the summer and I don’t think this one will be.
I adore a Gotta Jibboo I have only got 1 At Hershey Park 2010 the opener. What a smooth song A great Blaze On. Miracles do happen. Very strange how standard and so many repeats this tour and even the festival has been predictable but that Secret Set was at least on another level as well as night 1 of the festival. All covers tomorrow we are due but it won’t happen 2001 and Boogie On prove it Oh man what an Allman scritch They have been playing really well. We don’t expect it from Trey or Mike but Page and Fishman are very consistently outstanding. I agree we should expect that they practiced before tours but unfortunately it is rare. This tour they came out swinging and were already warmed up

I was up there too the whole show definitely my favorite night
DWD with out a doubt. The highlight of the weekend. NO DOUBT. IF YOU WERE THERE, YOU KNOW!
David Bowie, 2001, DWD, or Tweezer were probably my favs. I was there - audience was crazy. Probably the best Phish concert I’ve been to yet.

Solid show. I’ve been hoping/expecting something crazy to happen but not yet.
I ❤️ Jibboo
2001 gave me Gorge ‘98 vibes big time! And damn the lights were so on point!
You were kidding about that 1:42 am upload. Precise.

I remember that 😂 not sure anyone was counting anyway haha

@johnmiller5987 I don't remember that detail but it elevates the hilarity!
It's a throwback to the Japan tour before Oswego
To me set two of night two and night three we’re undeniably amazing 46 days was probably my favorite song of the whole run
Did you like the IT 46 Days?
I love Jibboo too
Thanks for the recap Fzap
2nd set was much better than you’re giving credit to. But it’s all subjective. My personal favorite so far. To each their own. Boom.
I'm going to rewatch and if I feel that I showered that set with praise, I'm blocking you. If I didn't, I'll apologize
Perhaps I passed over Scents without much credit given. I should block you but I'll call it a draw
@FZappa20 you think there’s a chance of a Makisupa tomorrow night? Been waiting for a while for it.
Love it! Could live with out Evolve 🤫
That Set 2, Holy Cow!
I bought the stream, will still be sleeping.

the Allman brothers bro?! 😂 cool I'll check it out
“I’ve never been to jail.”
You know the shows are actually available to listen to
Phans are still up partying right now and many will not make it to early set tomorrow
Less phish fans at a phish show is a good thing haha
Another well played show.
But do they take care of their kids?
I don’t want to get off topic here but good lord was that Gizz show a heater in NY!!! Circle back on that one when you can. 👑 🦎

Odds on Lizards and Foam?
Love Jibboo
That 46 days was dirty!!! I don't know what your talking about????
Glad you enjoyed it so much. Not bad for the 14th best song of the night
@@FZappa20 It’s not my fave.... usually... this one hit the money!!!!!! In person and the energy was phenomenal

Not being a asshole here! 😂
No big bust🎉 outs during the festival. As far as playing well just look at Dead and Co they don't play well and charge even more.
Is that a first time to ever play DWD, Tweezer and YEM in the same show?
Probably not, maybe though
2nd set was really good but pretty lackluster fest so far musically.
😂😂😂😂😂 clearly not here.
Yeah exactly - I can be more objective about the music. Relative to the other 2024 shows this has just been average.

Jim Billy ruined that set
