Such an underrated player, was really sad when we sold him. Had a brilliant partnership with Modric and sprayed passes like Xabi Alonso. No idea how he's not playing in the premier league.

Probably because he's 33 years old and has the pace of a snail. But I agree with you, in his prime he was absolutely class. No one better at striking a ball with either foot.
Tom Hundredstone! He has that nickname for a reason 😂 his knees went bad if I recall and he became a training cone after that.. can still pick a pass and strike a long shot I am sure. He just can't move anymore and to no fault of his own. Some peoples bodies break down early even if they take care of themselves.

One of the best technical strikers of a football that England has produced in the last 25 years. His passing range and shooting technique is/was world class. That 100 yard pass he put on a platter for Bale in 2009 against Shakhtar is unforgettable.

He's know for being one of his country's best ever players. World renowned for his ball control and technical abilities and had great spells at some big teams. He's the furthest thing from underrated.
