The drill bit wanders using the included drill guide, and if using the bottom template it throws you completely off. Need to use a drill press for this.
If you want to do this yourself I wouldn't risk it unless I was skilled enough but if your dead set on getting an Evertune Bridge installed, according to the Evertune website I believe you can send your guitar to them to make the installation for you like how the Sustainiac company does
wait a minute! when he take measure of the scale length, the ruler is not at 12.3/4 on the 12th fret when he mark the position on the body. did I miss something?
That's why luthiers charge so much for an install. Personally, I charge about 800$ including the bridge. The (one) other guy in Austin who does these, charges 1000$ including the bridge
You can do it!! I build guitars and have installed two of these. That being said, these directions are god awful!!!! Evertune, please hire a technical writer!
I like how they give you all the drill bits and templates. I think I'm gonna try this out

EddyBouhZik It IS the twelfth 'fret'. You play an octave right BEFORE the twelfth fret. I was confused too for a minute.
.........I think I'll just keep playing out of tune...

Yes it was, when he said that, he was referring to the metal fret not the space between.
Paul, as most bolt on necks tend to wobble a bit in the neck pocket, how can you be sure of the middle line....?
This should be set in right position before starting the installation
do i need to route my floyd rosed jackson v shaped guitar?
+Erdem Özmen man i have a floyd rosed jackson kelly... i believe we need if we want this on them.. (on the front not that much though)
Make the damn thing wider to hide original holes. If i had a cheap guitar maybe.
Seems like a great bridge but I am NOT going to rout out any of my guitars for this.
Just not worth it.
Man......i wonder what's left from the wood of my guitar after these? Not much !
UMMMM Im lost after the first 10 seconds of the video geeezzzz

@@mythicguitarcompany4826 You charge 500 for an install? Its mainly just the routing of the wood. I need to start doing this then.
