I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that cut down is better for a couple reasons. 1) Bursting a champ early makes them panic and run. This allows Yone to burst the first 40% sooner and now opponents might be thinking about evading instead of engaging, and my main arguement is 2) E deals true damage. Burst on the front of the damage seems like I will translate into more on the second E press? It could be argued that Coup also deals more true damage, however more damage on the front of the E would also translate to more damage on the back of the E, if you know what I mean?
I've tried Yone with these setup and i do 16-0-4 incredibly easy in 26 min Win Game : Runes : Press the attack Trionphy Alacrity Last stand second wind resolut ITEMS Bork, Infinity, Yun Tal, Shieldbow Try that one and let me know!
@@bake5448 PTA with BoRK, Navori, LDR, Jak Sho, Bloodthirster Can swap out LDR for IE if against squishy team. Against cc heavy teams go for mercuries boots or wits end (instead of Jak sho) or both. Have fun :)
@@bake5448 of course :) LDR is Lord Dominiks Regards (it's very good because of 40% armor pen so you can build it every game) and PTA is the Press the Attack rune. You can also go for fleet footwork into poke heavy lanes like le blanc or syndra.
I still think berzeckers into zeal into IE is the best start, then BT then jacksho...but wont argue with a challenger otp btw....with all stacks for runes you already get 1.33 in your q....then finish zeal
The PD change is so bad tbh, it was already just 'too much AS, not enough AD' to build and now they added even more AS and removed AD altogether, I don't see PD working without a buff

PTA might be better damage wise but I want the frexibility of having a heal on extended fights, Yone poke is already goodish against melee. Also, Depending the situation I will be alternating between Bork and PD into Shieldbow second. I don't think I'll be building IE unless I'm fed, I don't think Yone will be able to get way with it on an even game.
I played around in practice a bit, and PD rush feels really weird, doesnt really feel like a powerspike, the zeal kraken feels better, but zeal IE worked the best for me, and then maybe an attack speed item like kraken / bork / maybe PD to complete zeal? Thoughts? Also, is Yun Tal good if you have enough attack speed? Like, it did the most damage for me in the practice out of any items if I built it last (it like doubled my damage lol) and I wanna know if it is viable
haven't tried in a game yet but i practice tool i tried kraken into IE and i liked it. if has good synergy with pta since you just auto 3 times and get pta and kraken at once. so short trades should be amazing.
I tested the dmg of conq and pta in the practice tool and at lvl 6 with kraken boots and zeal pta outdamaged conquerer every time, with abilities, just aas or both combined. Even 8% dmg is just better than the maximum 30 ad that you get from conq. The only reason why to take it would be because of the gealing.
as a diamond player (top yone otp) ik my opinion doesnt really matter but my optimal build is go absorb life + second wind for sustain berserker into long sword for dmg after zeal for mainly ms to kite and poke with Q + W mostly long can be upgraded into scepter if u need more heal if ur not ahead already and build into what u want depending on team comp but this build is optimal for me beacuse it sets up easy early game especially if its melee champ
i have skipped berserkers and bought zeal instead. Went PD straight into Infinity and it felt so smooth. I really liked it, I had regular boots for most of the game.
bork into kraken was cool for me then i'd do IE then you can probably jak/dd into another dmg or defensive item so: greaves bork IE dd/jak bt situational

Agree. I also tried Cut Down on my Tristana mid and the Cut Down amplifies my E explosion. If they're still alive, they'll be forced to recall anyway.

I have played 10 games of yone already in master + mmr and the best build guys is by far Bork into PD into IE into DD

No matter what you build early wind Bros is in shambles rn. But you are definitely building the best option imo.
