John was absolutely mesmerising! Give all his emotions free reign Vocally unmatched.... this was one of the best JCS I had seen and I've seen quite a few lol. The silence at the end from the audience...was awesome...one could hear a pin drop... Loved your analysis and kind words. Thanks so much for this .... Doc KAP is the best there is....she is saving all the precious videos and restoring them God bless her work
Oh John is phenomenal in this whole production. The whole cast was. They were originally supposed to do about 12 concerts in Australia and ended up having to do over 90 in 3 months and grossed $40M - a lot of money in 1992. Jon Stevens who played Judas was just incredible and Kate Ceberano played a wonderful Mary Magdalene. The cast had so much respect and admiration for John's skills, versatility, work ethic, and mentoring of the younger cast members, especially and he had so much respect for them. Thanks so kuch Shawn for fantastic reaction. ❤🎉😊
This was my first experience watching Jesus Christ Superstar but I can’t imagine this being done better by anyone else. John met his wife doing the musical “Charlie Girl” so he had previously performed in a musical. Outstanding
Thank you for your wonderful reaction to our legend. I went and saw this production twice, and both times, I was blown away and cried when John sang this. His vocals both times were out of this world. To me, he really is the greatest singer in the whole world. John is the goat!!

The amount of emotion that he's able to transmit with his voice is just insane... and his vocal perfection is out of this world too, he really is one of a kind. I can't imagine this could be done any better

@@GiseleLeclerc Bit hard to compare a live performance with studio produced movie. I loved the movie - saw it quite a few times, had the record too. But nothing compares to John live - he is the G.O.A.T. When you have Celine Dion saying John is the voice, Freddy Mercury, Richard Marx, Tom Jones and others saying he has the best vocals and he can sing any genre. He has had no lessons - it's just raw natural talent. He has performed for 60 years and I would encourage you to watch more of his music. He is also a nice bloke, with no ego issues and genuinely loves his fans and his band. Love you John ♥️ You're missing out if you don't listen to more of him. 🥰
