Fire tv stick is pathetic. Fire OS is also based on Android ROM and it also starts to lag in 2-3 months Fire TV remote has serious hardware quality issues and it will be dead in under 6 months. 2 remotes of my fire tv stick 4k died in an year. One got replaced due to warranty but the 2nd one could not be replaced as it was out if warranty by a few days. You can't purchase an official fire stick remote separately as Amazon doesn't sell it separately. Only 3rd party chinese infrared remotes are available as replacement for ₹1500 which don't survive more the 2-3 months. I finally decided to discard my fire tv stick 4k and purchased mi 4k stick which is much better in quality and third party remotes are easily available under 600 just in case and official remote also available.

Take in count that Mi Stick 4K is without parental control and you can not lock or disable apps even with 3rd party applications. This is really strange even can say stupid decision from Xiaomi.
