There are so many great things about this pattern. The up-hook stinger is such a great solution and fish friendly. The wing pattern and sparse materials really make the pattern stable. Sounds like this is effective because of minnows in the Great Lake system. I wonder if it would also work in the Pacific NW fishery. Thoughts? Also, would love to see a video/details on how you approach swinging with an intermediate head. Great stuff, keep em coming!

Thanks for checking it out. Yeah this has been extremely effective.... the profile and movement and perfect. I'm sure you could adapt colors (Ive fished it in pink as well) - But I think sizing up the wing might make it too long and it could collapse, but maybe softer water would allow it to stay open?

@@KevinHospodar Thanks! I don't know much about Great Lakes steelhead, but my impression is that they key in on minnow patterns. Not sure if PNW steelhead have a different trigger. Hobo speys, intruders and leeches are most commonly used out here. At any rate, I sure like your pattern!
