Greetings from Western Australia, hi Cory/Janet that was a beautiful film thank you for sharing it for free (I have always enjoyed looking at the preview online over and over). I love how the children seem quite oblivious to any camera persons on the trip, it all seems very natural. Having already several of your DVD's I notice you seem to use more colour in this series of paintings than in those which followed, which I love. I'm aware that you prefer to paint 'the track less followed' to show the uniqueness of that stunning scenery but wonder whether you did do any flora/fauna paintings along the way. That initial scene of the 3 polar bears is stunning and rarely if ever seen, and the final scene of the still rock pools one of my favourites as that's also what I love to photograph. Your closeness to Sydney really shines through (as I'm sure it is with both your girls and my hasn't time flown), and I do hope she got to follow her passion for modelling and is successfully doing so. I wish you and your family good health in these stressful times, I wish you were all trekking the wilds right now away from any viruses and keeping safe. Hugs to you and I am already looking forward to that coffee table book and your next adventure............thank you :) regards Jenny
Glad you enjoyed Jenny :) I always try to respond to whatever inspires me while out there. Early on I did paint wildlife, but found my joy in the landscape experience itself, even when not encountering animals. A bit of this progression is in the bio section in the coffee table book to come. Be well and safe!
A truly gifted artist and what a group of explorers! Such wonderful family memories made, priceless. Thanks for sharing this film. :)
Thank you for sharing this piece of history Cory.
You're welcome Robert :)
