I did great on my virtual HireVue assessment and made it to the next stage, which was basically submitting lots of documents (CV, photos, certificates, tatttoo and mark declaration, etc). I received an email a couple days ago saying that unfortunally my application was not going to be progressed any further. That is not the answer I was waiting for because I’m an English-Spanish translator, I’ve done a cabin crew training course in Argentina, I’ve worked within international teams and I’d made it really far on my first on-site Open day a year and a half ago. I think it was because of my height (160 cm) to be honest. It doesn´t matter how hard you’ve worked to get your golden call -it’ll never be enough for this company.

So not been selected doesn't mean you don't answer to their criteria it only means that you are not selected this time because of many reasons (sometimes the huge number of candidates) So you have only to try the next time.. and that even show them how you want it so bad and how you didn't abandoned your dream ❤
Hie I am permanent resident in Canada and my query was that you have to be Canadian citizen to apply? Because they have sent me a link for hireVue for further assessments and I am not holding Canadian passport
Hi, I think that you can still apply even if you're in a country that you don't hold the citizenship. What will happen if you do that will be that you will be hired using your national country passport. Example you're from France, living in Canada without the Canadian citizenship, you may not have the Canadian passport and then be hired with the French passport. The company will therefore recognize you as a French national and not a canadian citizen. But be careful to not loss your permanent residency if you expat for a lon period. Hope I helped.

@@katieginty1272 Yes only 3 questions some of the people had 6. So mine was : Tell us an unpleasant story you had with a customer and how did you handle it? What was your biggest problem with a co worker and how did it end ? and can you give us an example of when you have provided excellent customer service. I know from a fact that regular questions are also : Why do you want to work at Emirates and when did you get above and beyond what was required!! I suceed the hire vue, honestly just be yourself prepare all the questions (you have like 30 questions you can find it on google and youtube) just remember about your experiences. Also you have some time to prepare and you can record the video 2 times for each questions in case you made a mistake ! Good luck to everyone
It took 3-4 weeks after my application to be invited to an assessment day. It may depend on when the company has scheduled their group assessment days… I heard back only 5 days before the assessment day.
So I made a mistake by declaring some scars that are absolutely invisible when I wear clothes to Qatar Airways. I was on the list but they ultimately told me that I needed to do the interview all over again. Not sure if that was because they were busy to prepare for the 2022 World Cup OR my application had been too long (from 2020 but got resumed in 2022 after COVID case wasn't much of a threat)

I just finished the HireVue at 2 November still waiting for the results if i passed or not.
I finished mine yesterday and hope to here from them soon.
