Try to find research internships at top institutions like IITs and if you get to work on a good research project and able to build a healthy relationship with the Professor then can definitely get a paper out of it.
Yes, to add on to the above, you'll have to find another prof from a different institute. Even if it's not a top institution, as long as the quality of the research work is good, you'll be okay.
i have a cgpa of 6.5 in bachelors.no internship and research work yet..but gre 322 and tofel 98...how to boost my profile... planning for fall 2022 usa
I recommend getting the project reviewed by someone with a lot of research experience. They'll be able to gauge the quality of your work and suggest some potential publications.
I'm in BTech (CS) 4th year, and have 6+ research papers published, having current GPA of 8.8/10 and is planning to pursue my master's right after my bachelor's, that is fall 2022. Can you please rate how strong my profile is? And should I take GRE as many universities have waived GRE. Have very less time for preparation and even if I score somewhere around 300+, is still my profile impactful?. Please reply to this question because this is very much important to me.🙏🙏 (Note: all the papers that are published are under good journals).
Yup, that's a pretty strong profile. Since there's not a lot of time to prepare for the GRE, I don't recommend that you do, unless you have a strong 315+ starting score. Now, you should probably just focus on your SOP. We have a webinar that you can use for it: sachinpullil.com/statement-of-purpose-secrets/
@@Feenicks-rsr Technically, there is time. But it's only worth it if you need the GRE to compensate for a low or mediocre GPA. Surya has a pretty solid GPA and profile right now, so he doesn't really need to focus on his GRE. He can if he wants to though.
Thanks for the information. I am currently working but I would like to pursue MS in field related to neuroscience. How should I go about writing a research paper in it ? Is building a model necessary for writing a paper?
No idea tbh. Research is different in different fields. That's why I recommend you find a prof first to act as your supervisor. They'll help answer all your questions :)
The actual research part can take 2-12 months, depending on the quality of the work, how much is already done, depth/breadth of the project, etc. Once you submit your paper for publishing, it usually takes 3-4 months for a conference I think? And likely more for a journal. Of course, depends on the publication.
I'm currently completing my masters in physics. I'd love to see more of such videos related to research work. Thanks for this helpful video!
What to do if you don't have any professor in your college with no one really interested to do a paper

Is it possible to view the research paper you had published ? any links or anything like that ?
If someone is doing unsupervised research, then how can we go about choosing a journal? Can you provide some tips or links..

u can even get papers reviewed by your peers/friends who have published papers earlier.
Which was better a journal or an international conference ?

How much value does a review paper add to your profile( if applying for master's)?
Not as much as one where comprehensive research was conducted.
Hey Sachin... Great content... Btw, how long does it take to do a research paper ? Any ballpark figure?
There are people that do it in 4 months. Mine took about 8-10. Some take longer.
It depends on the topic and methodology that you want to do your research. Basically, it can range between few months to few years.
Is it possible for UG completed students to pursue research ? and publish a paper ?
