I think the best comparison to a similar situation is, funnily enough, Hades!
He started out as a guardian, then became a mage because his kit was more suited to that role.
I could easily see the same thing happening with Charon to some extent.
Back when he was tank ppl called me troll and trash so many times only for going full dmg hades lol
P.s. The funny thing is almost nobody was playing Hades at that time cause his kit was too bad for supp but most ppl wouldn't even imagine going dmg on Guardian 😁
Nah he's staying a guardian
From playing him (admittedly, not in conquest) I feel like he follows more along the lines of Cabra. Very little CC/Supportability, but is very tanky, Cab has higher damage but Char has more range.
That being said he does feel like a bulky mage sometimes

@@shahar7476 okay, that’s fair I shouldn’tve said it how I said it, counterpoint, so far I’ve yet to be “locked down” or been able to do it to any other chars yet… like maybe if the silence was longer, or the fear was able to lead into something, but his CC kinda just exist for his own personal usage (IMO)

Myth did you play Narita Boy? Its a really fun 2D metroidvania :) i think you would love it and its pretty short. I think you could finish it in 2-3 episodes :)
You should warn him that it has a lot of 80s reverence and some light effects that could be troublesome but nonetheless its a good game

charons stuns are the cause of my depression
Regarding Charon's clear potential, he does have bad clear compared to some other guardians, but Joust also had its minions buffed. Everything is more tanky and does more damage in Joust, to the point where a max level Thoth with full build is incapable of instaclearing 20 minutes into the game. The tougher minions get like 1k+ health at that point lol.
Love to see more of JUST this god only.

They added a thing that spawns ghosts in a spot a god died its on a global cooldown and in duel spawns a buff or something.

Tank meta can be boring but believe me, damage meta is waaay worse
Just look at League of Legends, you go full tank 10 000 HP and cant even survive 5s against anyone
Honestly even in this current "tank meta" I find that hunters are pretty top-tier, at least in casual. Because every tank item gives health now, Qin's is practically mandatory on all hunters and it absolutely shreds everything. Every single hunter build I see is either Grinffonwings + Qins rush, or then just build every item in the pen category like an assassin (which has been the hunter meta for the past 5 years).
tbh it isnt even a tank meta if you build well ob shard and estaff are insane and the full pen hunter build kills tanks just as fast as normal just takes alittle longer to get online problem is the items are not the "fun" items so people who dont know the builds will get railed by tanks unfortunately

there is aim assist on console smite i recommend turningit off its very bad for team fights and aiming in this gameaint that hard tbh (at least the autos)

Tank meta is so unfun it has made me sto playing and enjoying the game, everyone build tank, warriors are immortal and do infinite dmg, so sad and unfun to play with and against

Aim assist is so bad on smite on console and i'm on console i deactivated it when i start the game for exemple if an enemy is behind you and appeared on your screen it slow your camera and can't even do a 180 normaly to defend yourself 😂
