Steketee Crumble rotor 2.0, customized for my rocky soil.

I cut and welded the crumble rotor so rock would no longer get wedged between the rotor and the rotor standard. They are no longer adjustable but they are perfect for my 15 inch rows.

Did you weld the rollers on to make them solid state vs adjustable? Is that just to keep them from coming loose?

One roller used to mount in the front and the blades were close enough to the frame that rocks would get stuck between the roller blade and the frame. By moving it back with the other roller it prevents rocks and other debris from clogging against the frame. I welded them in place since I didn’t need them to be adjustable.

I've never heard of a crumble rotor before, is it for weeding or does it serve a different purpose?

Keith Walker, they are for weeding. They pull the soil away from the crop so I can cultivate crops earlier. I love them.
