This is what makes 40K so interesting like so much more to the chapters than we think though the Dark Angels are secretive it's so interesting to speculate in theorize what's their hiding and how much stuff they collected how much Old World Tech that they have at their disposal
We the sons of the Lion love our secrets but if it is you the one narrating our tales of loyalty and service we are certainly honored to be brought to the spotlight, Battle brother Remembrancer.
The Unforgiven have an opportunity now to forge a greater destiny and path as they are once more reunited with their Father, and perhaps they could once and for all deal with the Fallen, but now they are now stuck in the Dark Imperium and make sure that the Emperor realm survive in these Dark Days to come.
Love me some Dark Angels. Bonus points for putting in the successor chapters too. I was happy as a schoolgirl with a new vibrator when GW finally brought back the Lion. I know he was a dick during the Heresy but I always liked the guy.
Im hoping that gw takes the route i have a feeling theyre going to. Currently with the awakening of two primarchs, the 40k universe is coming out of the medieval time period (our world) and are entering a reniassance where the rest of the loyal primarchs slowly return and will lead into a massive war against chaos (ww1)
I’m currently building a 1000 point Dark Angels army. And I decided to incorporate the successor chapters. I want paint my scout squad in scheme of one of the successors, but I’m split on which one. I’m honestly split between 3 successor chapters: Angels of Defiance, Disciples of Caliban, and The Unnamed. Can anyone help me decide which to go for with my Scouts?
The Mycenaean Lions, 4th founding, Fortress Monastery "Olympus Proxima" built on the largest mountain of the planet Athos. Set originally by Lion El'Johnson to watch over the Thassos sector and hunt the remaining Night Lords during the Heresy.
I have a theory about the thunder Warriors that their failed custodians and because the emperor needed Warriors he used them to fight and die to retake Tera
there's lore videos that know how to actually discuss the lore in some way aside from parroting it (badly). And there's guys who like the sound of their own put-on voice. This is the latter. A HALF-HOUR of reading the wiki before (checks notes) a few minutes apiece of reading the wiki for other chapters with zero analysis, commentary, or insight. Trash.
YOOO an hour long episode about my favorite legion, FOR THE LION
@@leviblackwell7997 you choice of favourite legion is correct

Just speak not too lexical, for beware the righteous grip of the airlock you just happen to be standing right next to
Meanwhile…
“Here is the Remembrancer, Asmodi.”
-Alpha Legion presenting a body double so they can claim that the secrets are safe.
Loyalty is its own reward
Try telling that to Peter turbo
Perfect inspiration for painting the Knights!
FOR THE LION!!
Currently reading "The Eye of Ezekiel", perfect timing! For the Emperor, for the Lion!
Same
“We are the sons of Caliban. Let fury guide your weapons. Let vengeance be your song! We are the angels of death and our enemies shall fall!”
All the successor chapter videos are all short, I guess that's why Dark Angels are secretive they keep things short.😂
Well in truth the Unforgiven are all just Dark Angles with different paint jobs. Appearances are important
This is just what is known as well not what has been redacted and kept secret i bet they still have some forge engines from the heresy too lol
@@Scheisskopf79Angels of Absolution: and I took that personally
Damn! All's that left is imperial fist, raven guard, space wolves, and ultramarines. Keep up the work

these successors really embodies that the Dark Angels are the template for all the legion so each one's gonna have the Word Bearer's equivalent 45:28

"Duty is its own reward" - lion el'jonson
im so early, Cypher didnt even notice me!
Praise the Emperor, another great video!
Here to do a little research since the dark angels are coming to space marine 2
Definitely would be the legion I would pick from lore. Both fascinating and infuriating but ultimately needing great leadership.
Very cool, I just finished my lion 🦁
Henh! Henh! Henh! "The Lion's Johnson" Henh! Henh! Henh!
Got the Millennium Wars Vol.1 from DakkaDakka so soon it will be time to paint some Angels of Absolution.

FOR THE CALIBAN
The Mycenaean Lions, 4th founding, Fortress Monastery "Olympus Proxima" built on the largest mountain of the planet Athos. Set originally by Lion El'Johnson to watch over the Thassos sector and hunt the remaining Night Lords during the Heresy.
Lion never went into stasis btw
I feel super stupid about the chapter badge of the Angels of Defiance, cos I thought it was a hammer, not a key
😊
IM SO EARLY
Luthor. was right!!
I have a theory about the thunder Warriors that their failed custodians and because the emperor needed Warriors he used them to fight and die to retake Tera
Those last two are horrible compared to all the classics....
Omg, the Penitent Blades have an atrocious color scheme. Terrible.
