This is great! I love all the videos and you do it so incredibly well. There is nothing that I do not understand, and what's amazing ( yet not surprising ) is that this knowledge is forever with me. Thank you
Excellent presentation. I would like to understand more about the sigma-1 receptor and the Ca+ balance in the endoplasmic reticulum and the mitochondria. The Sigma-1 Receptor in Cellular Stress Signaling - After decades of research, the sigma-1 receptor (Sig-1R)’s structure, and molecular functions are being unveiled. Sig-1R is an integral endoplasmic reticulum (ER) membrane protein which forms an oligomer and binds a variety of psychotropic drugs. It forms a complex with the ER chaperone BiP that controls specific signaling molecules’ stability and function at the ER to regulate Ca2+ signaling, bioenergetics, and ER stress.
Great explanation! Now for my annoying question. So, in deposition diseases, the Ca can be deposited where we don't want it to go, and, in fact, deposition disease will ultimately get us all in the end. What determines the pathological deposit of Ca into the tissues and glands causing our premature aging?
I really love this channel, it makes it easier for me to understand some topics I find difficult to learn.
I love your math ;). it’s 9825 to be reabsorbed by the kidneys (500 in, 325+175 out). Thx for the video.

Love u..dr.mike from India....
I'm very emotional to u ...want to meet u...but ..can't..
U r so humble...so sweet...thankuuuu❤
I was just waiting for a video from you about this!!!!!
Your lectures are always helpful and really learn many difficult subjects easily from you. Thank you sir for ur continuous good efforts. Salute you
I'm currently undergoing tests to determine if I have hypocalcemia so this has been great to watch
Thank you so much doctor mike for the wonderful presentation ❤️
This is fantastic. It's always been difficult to understand how calcium levels are controlled.

In gluconeogenesis, whats the difference between ADP regulation and AMP reg ? or they are the Same?
Thanks form Algeria .

what a wounderful explanation. thanks.
Amazing!
Nice lectures. Thank you
Hey Doc, can you please make a playlist for cell communication?
Dr. Mike, what's the remedy for increased calcium?
