As a small kid I used to cry when this show came on. I would say to my parents can we keep the littlest hobo I will love him for ever. They would say no we can not he is a TV an he lives far away in America.. you go get him he needs a home an love and I will give it to him please mum an dad. I would throw myself down on the ground pitching a fit nobody loves the littlest hobo I will love him.. like omg my poor parents they said every afternoon that bloody show came on an you would start howling lol… I still get a bit of a lump when I here the music.
I don't believe that this series will ever be available on dvd. That's why I'm so grateful that I can watch the entire series on y tube it's my favourite show thank you.
I have pictures from my dad of jack and London in toronto at a fair true 1970 s pictures my dad always had the coolest things .loved this show as a kid I'm 42 now. These dogs are truly beautiful
Hear me out - Hero Dogs movie mashup! Hobo, Fang, Lassie, Benji, Beethoven, the Trio from Homeward Bound and old yeller, helping humans beat an alien invasion, special guest appearance by Axl.
This show kinda made me feel 😔 sad I wanted to cry..😢💧felt so sad cause Hobo didn't have a permanent home-I know that's the point of the story..but, still (I wanted him to find a home & a family) of his own. 🏡
Watched this really late growing up in Buffalo, broadcast in French from Canada, on my B and W TV with a one side white earpiece. (When I was supposed to be sleeping)
I loved this, especially the theme song, these kids these days don't know what they missed, but to be fair my two youngest wouldn't be interested at all.
I love the intro as it makes me think of my best friend, a German Shepherd, Sasha, she was let go last August. The song makes me think of her. I cry too but she gave me and my family years of happy memories.
The first season had a more American theme to it, but the rest of the show was geared more towards Canadian. The entire show was filmed in various parts of Canada, within 50Km of Toronto.
I don't understand why the non police officers wore caps with the Toronto Blue Jays, yet the police officers were all dressed as U.S. law enfordement officers. Odd. Let's acknowledge the Canadian origin of "The Littlest Hobo."
Same here. I also don’t know why everyone has an affected southern US accent except the girl. The two shows (60’s version and the reboot in the 70’s-80’s) were all Canadian, but the true origin is from a 1958 American movie by the same name. Nobody remembers the movie, but they do remember the shows ... especially the reboot.
They should do a dark reboot with a cat doing the "Dexter" thing. Scene: Our hero kitty trips up the town serial killer while next to the semi-frozen lake. The cat looks on indifferently as the guy claws desperately at the bottom side of the ice.
You just gotta suspend your disbelief with this show. (I mean, there’s a super smart hero hobo dog that travels the country saving people. A window in a jail cell is just as believable 😂)
Loved the show as a kid and the theme tune but this episode is really dated and acting not the best 😂 As a kid I loved it and always came home on a Sunday after paper round to watch the it on the TV 🤣
I never watched an episode until my kids started watching on TH-cam! I hated the show as a kid... boring, bad acting, and that was the dog! Yikes! This show meant cartoons were over.
Man this intro song brings a tear to my eye
Same here.
Me too. I always have to skip it.
you're not the only one, it's a part of my childhood !
Me too, plus London was a beautiful dog
Always
One of my favourite shows as a kid shows like this aren't made anymore but it's good to see them again
If they simply put the whole series on Netflix I bet it would be an instant hit. People love dogs and simplicity, it would be therapy for most.
Loved this show as a kid. The intro 🥲 the dog was everything
Watched this as a kid every episode, now we have our own littlest hobo bless her,,, dogs are great
Loved watching the littest hobo its a shame kids of today dont have these shows we had
When life seemed so simple
As a small kid I used to cry when this show came on. I would say to my parents can we keep the littlest hobo I will love him for ever. Thank God show live through TH-cam. I loved this show as a kid. Today, I sing along to the theme song whenever I watch an episode.
I sing this song in the same places or moods I sing on the road again or the gambler and the intro
That’s one beautiful dog

One of my favourite shows as a kid, alongside the smurfs cartoon aha. Just came across these on TH-cam and have been binge watching them ever since!
Hear me out - Hero Dogs movie mashup! Hobo, Fang, Lassie, Benji, Beethoven, the Trio from Homeward Bound and old yeller, helping humans beat an alien invasion, special guest appearance by Axl.
I have named my little farm after this movie. The littlest hobo farm.
I used to love watching this when I was young
This show kinda made me feel 😔 sad I wanted to cry..😢💧felt so sad cause Hobo didn't have a permanent home-I know that's the point of the story..but, still (I wanted him to find a home & a family) of his own. 🏡
I remember The Littlest Hobo. It's like a modern day western.

I remember waking up early to see this gem when I was little
Who's watching in 2021? Loved this show and the theme song. Named my first dog after him years ago.

I do not cry often but every time I hear this song/watch this show I will ball my fucking eyes out to this day.
Nostalgic heartache....me too
Wow the acting here is ...interesting. I think the dog has the best performance
i miss this lol
We had Lassie and the Littlest Hobo. Such great memories.
I used to watch this in New Zealand as a kid love it back then, just watched it with my daughter.
The BBC also used to air this in the afternoon on children's TV in the eighties
I was born 20 years too late for this, but my dad recorded a bunch of episodes and I loved all of them.
What happened to good television?
The internet.
Quantity over quality.
Nothing
Nice Blue Jay's tuxedo!!
My god i miss the little boy i once was
I loved this, especially the theme song, these kids these days don't know what they missed, but to be fair my two youngest wouldn't be interested at all.
Old school Blue Jays hat. Love it.
I love all the messed up sayings the director tries to say. "Your father, a secret mountie under blanket agent."
The littlest hobo for 37yrs i thought it was called The Little Lost Hobo 😂😂😂
Jaja noob
From Beaconsfield Quebec ❤️🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Found out about this show from trailer park boys
Season 3
Episode 1
22:00 minutes
It should be law if you give Hobo a thumbs down. Automatic death sentence!
Agreed. Eight people, to the guillotine!
@@LeeLooface lol
I own a German shepherd and I named him London in honour of the hobo.
The best show ever good 👍 🙌 ❤️ good show like 👍 them 👏 all
I always have to skip the intro because I’ll cry otherwise 🙃
I love the intro as it makes me think of my best friend, a German Shepherd, Sasha, she was let go last August. The song makes me think of her. I cry too but she gave me and my family years of happy memories.
The A channel. That was local to us in Barrie
I always love feeling lucky don't you?
This show made me cry as a kid because the dog was always leaving.
I love littlest Hobo And I watch it my class
I love this
The dog is the best actor.
True bravura filmmaking here. Notice how they subtlety set up the cart with the greenery during the big stunt scene.
i remember this show when i was a baby 43 now wow cooll!!!!
I never got to see it...I will here though. Thx
19:17 Richard leaps like a cantaloupe.
Cool stunts.
I remember that cassette about Hooper the stuntman.™
Me encantaba ver cómo se programa de niño recuerdos de esa epoca
Funny how the dad broke himself out of jail and the sheriff doesn't seem to even care.
I used to love this show. Watched it every Saturday morning. Many happy memories. Was it set in America but made in Canada?
The first season had a more American theme to it, but the rest of the show was geared more towards Canadian.
The entire show was filmed in various parts of Canada, within 50Km of Toronto.
Some scenes filmed in the Pickering Village area of Ajax.
I had 3 stations on tv growing up there wasn't a lot to watch but this was my shit! 💯🙌
Hey GenX-ers...we are the best generation.
😭😭😭😭😭😭❤
(17:00) I hope you have insurance...LoL

I'd watch the sht outta that! 😹
I came here because of The Littlest Yarbo.
Filming a show of a film
Omg it was on A channel 😂
Now I see why so many Canadian actors leave for Hollyweird!
Lassie
Why is there a glass window in the prison cell?
You just gotta suspend your disbelief with this show. (I mean, there’s a super smart hero hobo dog that travels the country saving people. A window in a jail cell is just as believable 😂)
larry enticer's dad was lucky?
Is it just me or did anyone else grow up with this show?
Loved the show as a kid and the theme tune but this episode is really dated and acting not the best 😂 As a kid I loved it and always came home on a Sunday after paper round to watch the it on the TV 🤣
Dogs are actually like hobos since they raid through trashcans.
Ahhhh
💙💛💚🤣😂
I never watched an episode until my kids started watching on TH-cam! I hated the show as a kid... boring, bad acting, and that was the dog! Yikes! This show meant cartoons were over.
God the acting is so bad, its criminal, the story line makes no scene, Can't imagine anyone watching this at the time
Memories when I was a child I could cry 🤗😭
Hugs! Me too! This is so great 🤗🤗
