Hi there! What works for me is creating an overview of the upcoming two weeks, listing all the readings I need to cover. I then focus on reading as much as possible during the weekends to get ahead. On top of that, just studying a bit every day when I get the chance goes a long way. It helps me stay consistent without feeling overwhelmed. Hope this helps ✨
Learn how to sort out people early on whom you don’t study well with! Do it in a polite way, but always put yourself first regarding this so your education won’t suffer. Please make sure to take breaks in order to be even more efficient without burning out. One thing that might feel tempting is to take days here and there and study in bed, but it will not work in a positive way. Know you can’t read everything, and learn how to pick out the important things! Re-visit the things you have an interest in as a reminder of why you study and to keep your joy. Rest and get a good routine with food, workouts, spare time, family, friends and sleep. By having balance you will find it easier when the studying is stressful❤ I also study law in Scandinavia and those things helped me so much to get into it and keep it up. Don’t shy away from booking an appointment with the student health, they are well trained and can get you back on track faster than if you struggle alone (, so you don’t risk failing courses because you feel it’s tough with the mental health). A few in my class had to paus their education due to struggling alone out of shame. There is no shame in reaching out for help! I wish you a happy and interesting student time❤
