How the hell does it fit? Steering column is in the way of my shorties. Lifted the engine up and everything
That should let you wiggle them in. You can’t have the exhaust studs already in though for that to work.Alternatively, Disconnecting the steering shaft is just two bolts. Tie the wheel in place and mark everything though if you go that route.

I reused my bolts.
Did you end up installing the modified OEM gaskets or using the Doug Thorley Supplied ones?
I put on the modified OEM.
Hi bro, the short tube is better than long tube? For gx470 with vvti? Or long tube offers more power?
I think long tube is more power, but i don’t think it will just bolt up to your existing exhaust system which is why I didn’t look at those
Where can I order the gasket ? I got a great deal on used headers but no hardware included
Which gaskets? Thorley probably have to co tact them. Toyota? Ebay or your local Toyota dealer or partsouq (cheap and quick shipping)
