As with the Melda comp it's a good idea to put a protective limiter on the channel, because things can blow up pretty quickly while you're experimenting, especially if you go full on mental, abandoning all caution by engaging plugin randomisation in Fl Studio. As it is, though I've got some insane compression and distortion out of all three. Some of the presets I've created this way have been pretty unique.
Really? Melda, for creative effects? Their interface and workflow are very functional, but I personally find them pretty uninspiring. Like the way you assign an LFO to modulate a parameters and edit the LFO... It all works, but theres so many steps compared to the effortlessness of doing the same thing in Unfiltered Audio tools (especially Triad/Byome)... I wish Melda (and everyone else) copied every detail of the ux/workflow/modulation from Arturia Pigments.

Great review of those top 5 plugins of which 2 of them are already my faves... Overlooked MFreqShifter, MBandPass & MComb plugins... Those are now my new faves... So thanks!
Love fucking with convolution using unconventional impulses. Some fun ones for me, were time stretching drums and high passing them for unusual rhythmic verbs and recording scales with sine waves to make tuned drones/resonances and verbs.

I'm quite new to Melda but they're fantastic so far. Their Drum Replacer and Auto Align plugins are amazing.
