And I find myself alone alot cause men are no longer like that and I'm alone alot cause ask a dude what's your morals and codes and they just look at you confused. Thank you for speaking on the NATIVES!!! I wanna hear more about that! The prisoners had to take the state to court (citing the 1978 American Indian Religious Freedoms Act) to get their sweats and stuff. Every now and then they gotta do it again to resecure that cuz the prisons try to snake them.
The Santa Fe Prison Riot back in 1980 actually played a part in helping the Natives here in NM secure that. They had all institutions on lockdown throughout the state afterwards, the Natives across the state saw the opportunity and took it. My dad did 37 years so he told me abt what that was like.

@Nerdy old white Guy It's true, methadone has an extremely long half life and therefore prolonged withdrawal. If you REALLY want to quit and have the discipline to do so on your own, you can wean down using dope by dropping down to as low as a quarter gram. An then eventually to like a 0.1 piece a day, only using once you begin to feel signs of withdrawal ( in the morning if needed, an at night ). An just do as LITTLE as possible, an wait AS LONG as possible to use any. An if you can get to that low of an amount for even a week or 2, coming off of that is like a mild fever with wrestles leg syndrome. The worst part may be the lack of sleep, which can last for weeks. In some cases even months of irregular sleep, until it goes back to a normal sleep cycle.
The thing with methadone is that you have to REQUEST your dose be lowered, an have to take it upon yourself to do so. Otherwise they'll just continually increase people to a high dose, an basically keep you ON methadone for life. Opiates like Percocet and Vicodin from what I've heard an experienced, have a less physically intense withdrawal. However it lasts a bit longer, as compared to the withdrawals of heroin or morphine. But I too have heard of people USING "heroin," to come off of methadone or other prescription opiates. Because it's really just the 4 days or so that are the worst to deal with mentally an physically. Also because of the extended half life of methadone, you don't want to and CAN'T wean down as quickly. Because it will take awhile and then catch up suddenly, putting you into a full blown withdrawal.

@Nerdy old white Guy Yeah I'm not really suggesting to "substitute" one drug with another, while kicking and withdrawing from the drug you're addicted to.
But rather like you were mentioning people getting back on heroin etc, to come off of and quit that instead of coming off of the methadone. I was just adding to that, an saying how people transition to one drug or the other BECAUSE of its withdrawal symptoms. But yeah you're right, that's another thing.
Is people using other drugs like meth or xanax during and to GET THROUGH the withdrawal period of opiates. Which for some people meth might work, but I wouldn't ever recommend it.
I've seen and people who have done that exact thing and only end up going back to heroin acouple weeks or a month later, to where they're then using BOTH. An meth is one of the dirtiest drugs out there, in terms of its effects on people's minds and body.
I've have seen allot of people go nuts on it, even when only using very small amounts. They just get brain dead as hell and can't control their moods, or get on some like god complex. Where they think they are on top of the world, as they're roaming the streets homeless showing signs of schizophrenia. That seems to be how allot of people end up chasing though, the whole speedball effect. Whether it's meth and heroin or another similar drug that have the same downer, an upper effects. However I also know acouple people who have died shooting that shit or mixing it with drinking, an/or something else. Unless your doing so as a matter of "saving money" or something, it's just switching out one drug for another. An essentially adding more to the arsenal, unless you can really manage your use. However some things will work for some people, an some things won't but may work for others.
