@@Elmatasabuelitas300 Tbf tho, a lot of people at least say that Dead Reckoning doesn’t beat Fallout’s quality and I agree tbh. If u won’t take my word or Filmspeak’s word for it, at least watch Filmento’s vid on it, because he perfectly shows my problems with this film. He created 2 videos showing how Dead Reckoning has some great aspects but lacks in comparison to Fallout. It’s still a great movie by all means, I give it an 8/10, it just made a lot of unnecessary mistakes because McQuarry refuses to write a script before the movie meaning there are a lot of plot errors like Ethan perfectly managing to skydive at the exact carriage at the exact time needed to save Grace’s life for example. Again, watch Filmento’s vid on it, he doesn’t have a totally negative viewpoint, because he actually enjoys the film.
I actually kind of like that Wolverine is only shown at the end of the trailer just to remind everyone who’s movie this is. Like it might be called Deadpool & Wolverine but this is Deadpool’s third movie!
And even for a teaser the trailer showed a lot 💀 i don't know what bros on about. Obviously they're not gonna a show a lot of the most hype part about the movie in a teaser
Dude, this is just a teaser trailer. You know, they are only giving us a small glimpse of this movie and I think it’s worth it if you just wait and see.
Was it ACTUALLY underwhelming... or were YOU underwhelmed because the trailer just showed things that we (the people who pay attention to leaks and reports) already knew about and saw. From the perspective of someone that just knows theres a deadpool film releasing soon and thats it, this trailer must've been insane. Seeing the tva, the void, returning characters, the fox logo, and wolverine in it with his iconic yellow suit at the end. CASUAL AUDIENCES WERE PROBABLY STOKED!!
It's a fair point. I will say, when Hugh Jackman in the yellow suit walking with Deadpool and other shots like that were featured in People magazine, it sort of crosses over into casual movie fans. Like I said, my mom who doesn't follow this stuff knew Wolverine was in it. They made an announcement video about it. I get what you're saying and you might be right, I'm just sort of going off of the non movie fans around me who were expecting to see Wolverine in the trailer and are well aware of his return.
honestly who's going to see a Deadpool movie for the story?! for God's sake, they only go to satisfy their testosterone and progesterone, nothing more... it's an obsolete, basic, ordinary content with only bad examples... at least the MCU had it( thank God) 11 years of success and dignity 11 years where fortunately they still didn't have the rights to these useless, troublesome characters who don't add anything useful, at least for adults, because to say that this is mature content...mature content is a film like wakanda forever the eternal no way home spider man 2(2004)endgame infinity war this is mature content and can be more mature being pg 13 than deadpool deadpool is for children who never grew up properly...me When I was a kid, I just enjoyed watching Spider-Man swinging the Hulk around, yes indeed, yes, but in the meantime I've grown up, I see beyond that...yes, this film will be successful, yes, but for the worst reasons, it will only show the mediocrity and ordinariness that global audience has @@FilmSpeak
Yah I don't get it why do ppl think that the return of huge Jackman's wolverine is gonna ruin the ending of logan like come on man ppl these days just find it cool to criticize and hate anything they see
Look, I know that in your previous video you said something along the lines of “Why can’t this movie just introduce a new Wolverine and if Reynolds and Jackman want to collaborate they can co-star in some other movie.” But I think what you gotta understand is that people don’t just want to see Deadpool and Wolverine sharing the screen, and they don’t just want to see Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman sharing the screen. What people want to see is a teamup of these two specific characters played by these two specific actors. It’s something I’m sure Fox originally had planned but the timing just never worked out.
A teaser trailer isn’t defined by the length of the trailer it’s defined by how much of the story is revealed in the trailer which is why they left Wolverine as a tease because you got DP motivations now we are left wondering how Wolverine figures in. Also the trailer was clearly made recently because they have Ryan Reynolds accepting his award as DP which happened 2 weeks ago in the trailer on the screen in the TVA. But the trailer was also edited using only the 1st half of the movie they shot before the actors strike. So in this trailer we see none of the new material they shot for the movie.
I really enjoyed this trailer, first mcu trailer in years besides Guardians 3 to make me feel something, and this film feels less like a CGI vomit filled corporate product than the majority of the last several films and shows in this franchise, so I'm pretty excited.
I hear you except for the CGI vomit corporate product. Like these are comic book stories so of course there has to be a ton of cgi to translate it to live action and cgi is very hard, expensive and time consuming so I don’t kno when people decided every movie has to be Avatar or it’s trash. I also don’t understand how you do live action movies without cgi. And comic books are a corporate product in itself and not always good we are just seeing it proliferic in live action which I’m here for. I just wanna see these characters onscreen.
@@Byronic19134 You seem have miss understood what I meant by "CGI vomit" and "corporate product", what meant was it just feels like a lot of these modern mcu film as well as lot's of comic book and films in general that use a ton of cgi seem more like a souless product intended for the sole purpose of making money rather than being a piece of art made by passionate artist who have a creative vision and stories to tell, and while I understand that cgi is a very important tool in modern film making that can be used to great affect to create amazing visuals and digital affects like in the example you gave Avatar, and several great comic book films used cgi to great affect as well, it just seems like the recent mcu films and even some other comic book films like those in dc are relying on a ton of cgi to tell basic uninteresting stories and nothing else, a lot of it coming across as just actors standing in front of obvious green screens and things looking so utterly unreal compared to the rest of what I'm watching that it completely shatters my suspension of disbelief to the point were I can't take the film seriously anymore because it all just becomes a series of flashing colors with no real substance, it's even worse with movies where the cgi is so bad despite being a movie made with such a huge budget only to find out that it looks so bad because of time constraints and harsh working conditions for vfx workers. It's just kinda sad to me.
I’m glad it’s not bright and cgi to the max. Deadpool has always been darker and more grayed out. Plus they tried to go huge and bright and colorful for ant man quantumania and we saw how that turned out. This trailer makes me excited and I love how they just barely tease wolverine in the end. Perfect teaser
I addressed that in the video. Taking my personal feelings about Jackman's return out of the picture and trying to meet the trailer where it's at, it was just strange to me that he wasn't in the trailer given he's a co-lead. I get my complaint is ironic.
it's not bait??? It's literally just my opinion. This isn't old news either. I made a video when the film was announced that I didn't like the direction they were headed in.
@@FilmSpeakyour judging a movie that has not even been released based off of a 2 min trailer. Its clickbaity to start with. But u got me obviously😂😂 hope this movie proves you wrong. I hope
I mean its a teaser. Plus if they showed more, people would say "oh they showed the whole movie". From i recall the first two films' trailers and such weren't that big either.
I thought it was badass. Especially that shot where he racks the chambers against his chest. And this is a different wolverine than the one in Logan, or at least before his death, so it doesn't affect anything in that timeline. I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy it as much.
Not everyone seen those Deadpool 3 leaks before this teaser dropped because not everyone is chronically online. The MCU is not gonna change their marketing for this movie just because people seen photos they weren’t supposed to see.
I usually would agree, but considering how this is essentially a huge sendoff for FOX studio. I think it's appropriate for the nature of a Deadpool movie.
Just came to say that the title is fucking cap! No way you sat there staring at Deadpool kills the marvels universe in movie form and werent giggling like a fucking schoolgirl
Yea but he doesn’t have to does he, just cause there adapting something cool ,he doesn’t have to giggle like a little school girl just enjoy what you want and if someone doesn’t agree with your OPINION don’t get triggered about it.

Weird af how you went that way and also make sure ur spelling is right.
Deadpool kills the marvel universe is shit and that’s not what this movie is at all. I disagree with him but nerds have the dumbest ways to praise something
classic contrarian. they already said that they won't ruin Logan's ending and this Wolverine may be from a different timeline/universe. I despise the whole "they are gonna ruin Logan just for nostalgia!!!". Ryan Reynolds said in interviews and I quote "It made me sad that Hugh hanged up his claws, and it feels like I missed the time window to finally get Deadpool and Wolverine together" everything they're doing is in good faith, they're not just doing it for nostalgia-bait, and they are self aware about it enough to even mention it in the Deadpool 3 update part 2 on Ryan Reynold's TH-cam channel, and it kinda just makes people look like dicks when saying such petty and nitpicky complaints like the majority of your points here (did you seriously just complain for like 3 minutes about Deadpool doing gun stuff in a desert on The Void?😂) It's good that they aren't giving us much wolverine stuff, the leakers have given enough and just because there were lots of leaks doesn't mean marvel just say "f*** it" and include many scenes of Wolvy and Deadpool hanging out I myself am a contrarian most of the time and don't often agree with the popular consensus, but even I think it's hella petty to not like this teaser trailer
So let me get this straight. They’re self aware about the fact that they’re using fanservice, therefore, they aren’t using fanservice? And to act like the fan service isn’t a big part of this is genuinely bad faith. Why not just get someone else for wolverine like the guy said, then?
@@masonscott2168I did not say such things as "they aren't doing fan service because they are self aware" it is a fan service movie without a doubt, but what I'm saying is I don't really like how the video implies that that is all it's going to be, as if there's not a lot of craftsmanship and care being put into it I'm saying that it's not fan service for the sake of fan service, the cheap kind. the one that's mostly for money reasons. Ryan Reynolds is clearly very passionate about Deadpool and the whole team made the movie with love, with good intentions, unlike movies like Madame Web or something, movies that have no soul whatsoever and just scream corporate and just purely made for money So it's kinda upsetting that the video implies that Deadpool 3 is just a cheap fan service movie that will ruin the masterpiece that is Logan, it's as if FilmSpeak is so sure that there's no sense of art, passion or love put into this movie just as much as given to Logan and is just merely a cheap fan service movie without anything of substance beyond that, while in reality, the 2 Deadpool movies, despite the raunchy humor, always has an emotional edge to them, like actual thought and care put into the stories and not something so bland, corporate and basic like the Sony spinoff movies
@@masonscott2168 EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN SAYING AND AGREEING WITH FOR SO LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have a theory wolverine isn't the colead, but instead the goal. Like maybe Deadpool derails the mission he's stuck doing for the TVA to hunt for wolverine
very cool theory indeed but it will make the die-hard fans lose their shit and pluck their seats right out in the theaters (sincerely: a die-hard fan that wont be mad cause 20 minutes of Hugh would be more than enough tbh, they need to let him rest for the love of God)
I know I’m a little late to this but i think this movie has all of the right ingredients to succeed. The original writers and directors of the first two are back to work on this and Ryan has been given a lot of say on how this movie is gonna be made which is great because Ryan Reynolds has proven twice in a row that he understands the character of Deadpool almost better then anyone. All it needs now is it’s signature crude humor, it’s fun character interactions, and a heartfelt story which is everything the first two had.
I felt the same way. My brothers were all excited when he cursed, but my hype died when I saw the TVA; and it was resurrected and killed again when we didn’t get to see Wolverine.
You described my feelings exactly about the two "Deadpool" movies. Didn't like the second one, was very impressed by the first one but now I am over it. And I think the problems are two: first of all Ryan Reynolds has been playing Deadpool in every movie he has made since then (he's just playing himself) and secondly I think the "oh my god" factor of the fourth wall breaking has been reduced in the recent years especially after "she-hulk".
It was literally a teaser and for a teaser it showed a shit ton of footage. You literally said in the video a teaser isn't normally that long and that is basically a full-length trailer
In my opinion it would’ve been much more clever to have Hugh in a supporting role as maybe a Dupinder kind of ally to Deadpool while he quips about his presence to the new wolverine - telling him how he could never live up to hugh while Hugh’s character sits there confused
My main issues with this Trailer: 1. Is clearly not the original plan intended for the 3° movie & the closure of the trilogy 2. Too many Cameos that I net half of them won't have any relevance to the plot 3. From ALL THE INTERESTING STORIES & RICH LORE Deadpool comics have to offer, ¿Are they really making AGAIN a Time-Travel conveluted story? Hope & I really want to be wrong, but after remembering this is Fox & Disney, is hard to ignore that
Tbh idk why you’re mad he’s coming back as Wolverine bc he WONT be playing ANY version of Wolverine he’s played in the past, ok he’s not playing THE Logan with all the same memories and experiences that happened to the FOX Wolverine, yes it’s still a form of “nostalgia bait” but AGAIN he’s not playing a version of Logan from any of the past X-men films it’s a completely DIFFERENT Wolverine which that just so happens to be played by Hugh Jackman
That's the defense I keep seeing over and over AND OVER AGAIN! Look they keep insisting that they won't interfere with Logan. I still highly doubt it, but so far they are not touching the events of the film. But it's not just about Logan dying at the end of Logan. It was about Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart saying goodbye to their roles because they felt like they were getting too old. Obviously Hugh is back and Patrick returned in Multiverse of Madness. I dislike it because it contradicts the meaning of Logan. Logan isn't just the death of Logan, it's the end of Hugh and Patrick's careers so that new actors could play them. Bringing back Hugh and Patrick to play Wolverine and Professor X AT ALL contradicts Logan. It doesn't matter if Hugh is playing a different version of Wolverine or that the Wolverine we know is being pulled from the timeline before the events of Logan happen to him, Hugh is STILL PLAYING WOLVERINE!!!!!! It ruins the beauty of Logan. It's still a great film, but it is sadly not the end of Hugh's run as Wolverine. THIS is. And I just don't think Deadpool 3 will be as beautiful or unique as Logan.
@@EmmanuelRamirez817 you do understand what CONTRACTS are right? Maybe if you ACTUALLY do your research then you’d realize that the Fox X-men actor’s contracts expire in 2025 so they’re technically OBLIGATED to come back that’s actually how that shit works, and AFTER 2025 and Fiege even SAID this that after they’re contracts are done they will have time to recast everyone that is why the OFFICIAL mcu X-men got pushed back to 2027…
@@DZR-O Okay. You have a point. Yes, the X-Men contracts expire in 2025. In that case, if they really wanted to have Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds in a Marvel movie together, then have Hugh play HIMSELF. What this movie should've been is Deadpool kidnapping the real life Hugh Jackman and them going on a road trip. There are a ton of videos (Including FilmSpeak's past Deapool 3 video) that have talked about this. -FilmSpeak's other Deadpool video: th-cam.com/video/0CcwCdy2qsA/w-d-xo.html -Full Fat Video Deadpool 3 video: th-cam.com/video/A6x0DP23k-c/w-d-xo.html Basically the problem that people like FilmSpeak have is that in Marvel movies, nothing is sacred. Characters die and come back. Yes that happens in the comics, but it doesn't mean that it should happen in movies. When Logan died at the end of Logan, it was beautiful and people thought that for once, a beloved Marvel hero got the swan song he deserved and he would not be brought back. Hugh coming back as Wolverine cheapens the meaning of Logan, and that is what FilmSpeak is trying to say.
I understand what you’re saying about cameos and the issues they create in superhero movies (basically since NWH came out) but I feel like most people don’t have a problem with them when they help the story and characters move forward. Multiverse of Madness and the Flash was useless cameos. Wolverine is going to have actual meaning and be important to this story
I feel doubtful of this film. First, I hate the TVA shite, it's dumb and nonsensical and it ruins the Marvel multiverse, 616 my ass. Secondly, it looks too clean, not grimy enough compared to prior Deadpool films. And, thirdly, I feel like there's not enough meat, blood and stuff, which might be cuz the CGI is not done yet, but still, I hope it's not Disney-fied. edit: Yeah, bland is the right word, with it looking too clean and flat, like Holland's spidey suits

Didn’t even like the Loki show that much but I feel like Deadpool and Wolverine mixed with the TVA will be so much better than Loki and the TVA.
I highly doubt it, "Loki and the TVA" is a big bar to fill and the only thing that could top it is Wade's interaction with TVA/Paradox. It Could but probably won't, Episodes 1, 4, 5, 6 of both seasons of Loki is the best written piece of marvel hoo-ha in whole phase 4
@@rokudodamaza cmon bro. The Loki show was just a whole bunch of sitting down and talking in a 1970’s style office. It wasn’t the timey wimey multiversal fun the fans expected it to be. If your “high bar” is Loki and Mobius going to a 70’s McDonald’s, all I gotta say is get real. The Loki show should’ve been about visiting corrupt timelines / universes in the multiverse. Showing characters from defunct marvel movies and shows. Not a dense “love” story of loki and his female counterpart.

Interesting take on the trailer. I get what your saying about the nostalgia and using Hugh again after the greatness of Logan. While I am hyped for this movie and loved the teaser, you could easily be correct and this not deliver in the long run. I do hope like you said the film proves you wrong and is an enjoyable ride. Time will tell. Great analysis as always Griff
Finally. A respectful response! Almost every comment I see is rude and attacking FilmSpeak! Your comment is exactly what I want to see when people debate. So respectful. Thank you!
Trailers should be underwhelming. Anyone under 30 with an opinion has been exposed to an unfortunate era. The current Deadpool trailer leaves much to the imagination which is what so many youths lack.
Do you people just wake up looking for things to hate or what? Hugh Jackman is not a cameo. Let me repeat, JACKMAN IS NOT A CAMEO. He is the official co star whose name is in the title. The movie has to be a cameo fest tho by default because of the TVA and plot of the movie. They need certain characters in it so why not have them played by characters who already played them? It makes perfect sense pragmatically.
Where the hell did I say Jackman was a cameo? I spend a good chunk of the video actually talking about Jackman as a co-lead lol. There are other Fox legacy characters that will cameo.
@@FilmSpeak Hey FilmSpeak, are you gonna see this when it comes out? As a matter of fact, tickets are supposedly on sale tomorrow. You gonna see it? Cause I'm VERY CONFLICTED. On one hand, the Marvel fan is excited for Hugh Jackman's return alongside Deadpool. I'm excited to see a Deadpool movie in theaters. My dad took me to see the first one back in 2016 when I was 9 but he realized it was very violent and he didn't know that this was not an MCU movie. Also there isn't a ton of stuff to get excited for this summer. On the OTHER hand, I REALLY dislike that Hugh came back. The meaning of Logan is ruined. So you know what? I'm very upset that Hugh came back. So I am actually considering not going to see the movie. I believe in your last Deadpool 3 video, you said that after Spider-Man: No Way Home, hollywood learned the wrong lessons from it and every superhero movie since then has become a cameofest. I completely agree. Personally, I am sick and tired of cameos, even if they are done right. I was watching Across the Spider-Verse and seeing spectacular Spider-Man wasn't as exciting as it should've been. I already kind of knew that he would be in it because of darn leaks, and it made that moment underwhelming. I wish I genuinely had no idea he was in it and jumped out of my seat being absolutely taken by surprise. Same with Tobey and Andrew and the villains in NWH. My point is Hugh's return makes me groan. So if NWH taught hollywood that cameos only matter, then Deadpool 3 (If it's successful) will teach studios that death does not matter. EVERYONE IS COMING BACK. So I kind of want Deadpool 3 to fail even though it most likely won't happen, but if it fails then disney will probably never make another R-rated movie again. I also love Deadpool and it will be such a shame that I missed his supposedly final movie in theaters. So yeah. I'm conflicted. What do you think? Will you see it? I'm not depending on your answer. Just because you will see it doesn't mean I will see it because YOU are. I just genuinely want to know. If I do decide to not go see it, it'll be tough. Both resisting the temptation and my dad letting me stay home. Usually I would have a good excuse like, "I'm doing homework." But I obviously can't use it. But sorry for rambling on. What's your take?
It’s a teaser so it shouldn’t really show off much of the story. One thing I do hate though is Deadpool’s new suit. The old one looked real and textured like it was made of leather or something, but this new one just looks really cheap like stitched together Nike dry fit. ik comic suits are supposed to be spandex but it looked so much better before
LOL. What a lame way to get views on your video. There always has to be the one guy who goes out of his way to pretend like he’s different to the mainstream. Very original, bub.
well if you knew anything about me or my thoughts on this film you'll know that I haven't been a fan of the concept for this film from the get go. I'm not MINING for views. I'm just stating my opinion.
I saw a rumor that Kevin is impress with the film and wants Deadpool and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) to appear in both upcoming avengers movie rather than just one (secret wars). Who knows. But I agree, we need a new Wolverine actor. Logan was a perfect send off
I’m sorry but this is simply untrue at 10:51. If you listen to James Gunn’s director’s commentary on Guardians Vol.3 during that scene he talks about how he himself didn’t want to turn people off too much with an F-bomb and so he asked Kevin Feige for his input and he told him it was totally fine.
While I do agree with your statement that Logan was the perfect send-off for Jackman’s Wolverine, I agree with the masses that Days of Future Past should be seen as the true finale and that Logan should be seen as an epilogue. Deadpool & Deadpool 2 are better off as their own thing because they’re much more violent and contain a lot of meta humor.
The thing i saw is that the teaser dosen't have that vibe that both DP1 and 2 have, and also, excited about Wolverine. I was going to say that this is the best teaser experience ever. But it wasn't probably it, to me the GTA VI Trailer got me super duper hyped even tho i don't have a ps5 or an xbox series S and X. Hyped for both GTA VI and DP3
I mean idk what you want me to say...this has been my take since the project was announced. It's just not for me. I'm still trying to give it a fair shake, I did say I didn't think it was a BAD trailer, just a bit underwhelming. I hope to be proven wrong!
@@Bishop228If you are saying that because you couldn’t find any logic in the complaints of this video then I agree. Like complaining about it being a Deadpool and Wolverine movie instead of just being DP is dumb because Reynolds sets that up at the end of DP2 so the plan for DP3 was always gonna be a team up.
After all, don't take it the wrong way, but I think you haven't really understood the principle of a teaser in fact, but after all, what am I to judge, you said that the film The Flash was going to be incredible before its release. So in real life, taking your opinions into consideration is a bit like twisting your ass
The people behind have already said there not doing anything to Logan timeline and that the movie will still matter so Logan still get the same faith even they pull from that timeline so nothing being ruined
We don’t need to see Wolverine dude. If anything it’s best we don’t see him much in these trailers. Save that for the movie. Less is more. Tobey & Andrew weren’t shown in the trailers and it was incredible when we saw them in the film even if we knew they were in it since the beginning. Yeah by definition it’s not a “Teaser” but I still consider it because we probably only saw bits from the opening and random early act 2 shots. All in all must suck to have to cover this stuff for every movie and what not. Because man… you really have to dig deep to find the flaws.
I think the trailer did a great job to build hype for the movie...us Marvel nerds saw the leaks...most of the general population hasn't yet! I gaurantee a big portion of people that will be seeing this movie, have no ideas of the leaks, or the ryan reynolds stream! I'm just hoping Disney doesn't cripple Ryan Reynolds.
I disagree with the whole them bringing back characters and actors back from the Fox X-Men franchise as a purely nostalgia thing that'll have no substance behind it. The way I'm looking at this film is essentially as a farwell to that franchise/series of films that I and so many people grew up with and love, a proper swan song if you will. It always bothered me to think that my favorite film franchise since I was a kid ended with two horrible films in Dark Phoenix and New Mutants, but now we're getting this film as a celebration and goodbye to the series that meant so much and deserved way more than it got in the end. And how could you do a film like that without the old cast and especially without the centerpiece of that franchise Hugh Jackman's Wolverine? Now with this film's existence I hope that my childhood super hero franchise can finally go out with a bang instead of a whimper.
We sometimes forget, but Fox Marvel was the first to bring Superhero films into the Blockbuster realm that weren't Batman or Superman. It is where Fiege first got his start in Marvel movies, too. This is more of a goodbye to Fox Marvel, except for Ryan Reynolds. For he must forever live the burden of the memories of that universe. Even if he saves his friends from his movies, they will probably only remember him and anyone in that birthday party. This movies looks all haha, but I wouldn't be surprised if this film ends in a very sad and dark place.
Why do fans feel owed a goodbye? Not everything needs a proper farewell. Why are we celebrating the mistakes of the past with affleck DD and Elektra? Why can’t we just move forward, this desire to be stuck in the familiar kills creativity and proper adaptation
@@thomasjohnson1885 I don't feel like we're owed anything, I'm just expressing my personal feelings on the fact that this movie exists which is a fact no one can change whether you like it or not, I just chose to be grateful rather than cynical about it and I don't see what's wrong with my feelings towards it. Also I don't think the film is celebrating mistakes it's just acknowledging the past, likely in a comedic way since it's deadpool who's humor is very self aware and likes to poke jabs at things like that, but also those "mistakes" where necessary stepping stones to getting where we are now with comic book films as a whole, if it weren't for the older films regardless of their quality and how they may have aged if it weren't for them we would have nothing now, but I do agree with you that the mcu needs to move forward and stop looking back, like I'm okay with this as a one time thing and never again.
In the beginning of the video, I kind of saw your point, but it just started to divulge into a bunch of rambling about what you don’t like I get it your opinion, but it’s just a bunch of whining because you didn’t get exactly what you want and things aren’t exactly the way you want them these are freaking comic book movies man of course, they’re gonna be weird and wacky and full of spectacleone minute you’re talking about it’s not colorful enough and not bombastic enough and then the next minute you’re saying it’s too bombastic and they’re doing too much trying to do too many connections, I’m sorry, but after a while, your logical opinion started to divulging to a bunch of incoherent rambling
Nah I'm with you actually. It was the best Superbowl trailer, still underwhelming. Like what's the premise here? What's the stakes? Who's the villain? With the whole being meta and multiverse thing, it's odd that the action is the typical Merc with Mouth action. Sure, there's a giant 20th Century Fox logo in the back but surely they could've done more? Also, the music is ass.

Just don't expect it to be close to Logan in any way. It's more like Loki
I actually kind of like that Wolverine is only shown at the end of the trailer just to remind everyone who’s movie this is. Like it might be called Deadpool & Wolverine but this is Deadpool’s third movie!
Also it’s kind of obvious that Logan’s gonna be introduced at around the end of the 1st act based on the teaser footage

Dude, this is just a teaser trailer. You know, they are only giving us a small glimpse of this movie and I think it’s worth it if you just wait and see.
And what we saw was meh

It’s something I’m sure Fox originally had planned but the timing just never worked out.
filmspeak never fails to have the dumbest opinions
I'm also convinced that the "Patches" wolverine at the poker table is not Jackman, but a shorter and younger actor.

Imperfect but not underwhelming.
So in this trailer we see none of the new material they shot for the movie.
lessssgooo, a non-brain-dead statement at last
I really enjoyed this trailer, first mcu trailer in years besides Guardians 3 to make me feel something, and this film feels less like a CGI vomit filled corporate product than the majority of the last several films and shows in this franchise, so I'm pretty excited.
I’m hyped too man! The trailer made me laugh harder than anything since ig gotg3? But even then that was just good joke wise
What’s disappointing? Showing that there’s TVA and multiverse being involved?
I’m glad it’s not bright and cgi to the max. Deadpool has always been darker and more grayed out. Plus they tried to go huge and bright and colorful for ant man quantumania and we saw how that turned out. This trailer makes me excited and I love how they just barely tease wolverine in the end. Perfect teaser
I’m confused. You don’t want Wolverine back with Jackman, but your primary complaint is that they didn’t show him enough? Am I getting that right?

I addressed that in the video. Taking my personal feelings about Jackman's return out of the picture and trying to meet the trailer where it's at, it was just strange to me that he wasn't in the trailer given he's a co-lead. I get my complaint is ironic.

classic contrarian. they already said that they won't ruin Logan's ending and this Wolverine may be from a different timeline/universe. I despise the whole "they are gonna ruin Logan just for nostalgia!!!". Ryan Reynolds said in interviews and I quote "It made me sad that Hugh hanged up his claws, and it feels like I missed the time window to finally get Deadpool and Wolverine together"
everything they're doing is in good faith, they're not just doing it for nostalgia-bait, and they are self aware about it enough to even mention it in the Deadpool 3 update part 2 on Ryan Reynold's TH-cam channel, and it kinda just makes people look like dicks when saying such petty and nitpicky complaints like the majority of your points here (did you seriously just complain for like 3 minutes about Deadpool doing gun stuff in a desert on The Void?😂) It's good that they aren't giving us much wolverine stuff, the leakers have given enough and just because there were lots of leaks doesn't mean marvel just say "f*** it" and include many scenes of Wolvy and Deadpool hanging out
I myself am a contrarian most of the time and don't often agree with the popular consensus, but even I think it's hella petty to not like this teaser trailer
Bro woke up and decided to speak facts
So let me get this straight. They’re self aware about the fact that they’re using fanservice, therefore, they aren’t using fanservice?
And to act like the fan service isn’t a big part of this is genuinely bad faith. Why not just get someone else for wolverine like the guy said, then?
@@masonscott2168I'm sorry what?
@@masonscott2168I did not say such things as "they aren't doing fan service because they are self aware" it is a fan service movie without a doubt, but what I'm saying is I don't really like how the video implies that that is all it's going to be, as if there's not a lot of craftsmanship and care being put into it
I'm saying that it's not fan service for the sake of fan service, the cheap kind. the one that's mostly for money reasons. Ryan Reynolds is clearly very passionate about Deadpool and the whole team made the movie with love, with good intentions, unlike movies like Madame Web or something, movies that have no soul whatsoever and just scream corporate and just purely made for money
So it's kinda upsetting that the video implies that Deadpool 3 is just a cheap fan service movie that will ruin the masterpiece that is Logan, it's as if FilmSpeak is so sure that there's no sense of art, passion or love put into this movie just as much as given to Logan and is just merely a cheap fan service movie without anything of substance beyond that, while in reality, the 2 Deadpool movies, despite the raunchy humor, always has an emotional edge to them, like actual thought and care put into the stories and not something so bland, corporate and basic like the Sony spinoff movies

very cool theory indeed but it will make the die-hard fans lose their shit and pluck their seats right out in the theaters (sincerely: a die-hard fan that wont be mad cause 20 minutes of Hugh would be more than enough tbh, they need to let him rest for the love of God)
A lack of critical thinking in the comments. Disagreeing is one thing, but these fanboys literally broke their necks to get mad and miss the point
Look at it from a marketing standpoint why the hell would they show him all the way
I felt the same way.
Bro focuses on one thing wolvie not being shown and then waffles I like film speak big fan but the only thing that’s underwhelming is this video
It was literally a teaser and for a teaser it showed a shit ton of footage. You literally said in the video a teaser isn't normally that long and that is basically a full-length trailer
Trailer felt off but I’m glad what they showed is everything already leaked makes me have more anticipation
i understand too, i heard they were cutting out a lot of wolverines origin story that both ryan and hugh wanted but Disney was saying it was too much.
In my opinion it would’ve been much more clever to have Hugh in a supporting role as maybe a Dupinder kind of ally to Deadpool while he quips about his presence to the new wolverine - telling him how he could never live up to hugh while Hugh’s character sits there confused
My main issues with this Trailer:
1. Is clearly not the original plan intended for the 3° movie & the closure of the trilogy
2. Too many Cameos that I net half of them won't have any relevance to the plot
@@DZR-O Okay. You have a point. Yes, the X-Men contracts expire in 2025. In that case, if they really wanted to have Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds in a Marvel movie together, then have Hugh play HIMSELF.

Basically the problem that people like FilmSpeak have is that in Marvel movies, nothing is sacred.
@@DZR-O Also, I hope you watch BOTH of these videos to the end, ESPECIALLY the second one.

I’m hyped and don’t share your skepticism. At all…
I understand what you’re saying about cameos and the issues they create in superhero movies (basically since NWH came out) but I feel like most people don’t have a problem with them when they help the story and characters move forward.

That’s literally all this channel does lol
Where the hell did I say Jackman was a cameo? I spend a good chunk of the video actually talking about Jackman as a co-lead lol. There are other Fox legacy characters that will cameo.
You must have a VERY limited understanding of what my channel is then.
What's your take?
geez it’s a teaser man
Underwhelming argument. Good click bait though
It’s a teaser so it shouldn’t really show off much of the story. One thing I do hate though is Deadpool’s new suit. The old one looked real and textured like it was made of leather or something, but this new one just looks really cheap like stitched together Nike dry fit. ik comic suits are supposed to be spandex but it looked so much better before
Is that the 20th Century Fox logo partially buried in the background of the outdoor scenes?
@@FilmSpeak You clearly are “MINING” for views, desperately, you’re not that hard to see through 😂
@@py16667 k dude
Deadpool & Deadpool 2 are better off as their own thing because they’re much more violent and contain a lot of meta humor.
wasn't it just a teaser ?
Yes it was, it’s whole goal was only to tease
The thing i saw is that the teaser dosen't have that vibe that both DP1 and 2 have, and also, excited about Wolverine. I was going to say that this is the best teaser experience ever. But it wasn't probably it, to me the GTA VI Trailer got me super duper hyped even tho i don't have a ps5 or an xbox series S and X. Hyped for both GTA VI and DP3
Hating to get views huh? It’s called a teaser for a reason huh?
I just said the loudest “HUH!!?!?!” ever when I saw this video pop up 💀
you lost a sub. terrible take, this movie is going to be perfect for the mcu especially with how underwhelming the MCU has been, not deadpool
I mean idk what you want me to say...this has been my take since the project was announced. It's just not for me. I'm still trying to give it a fair shake, I did say I didn't think it was a BAD trailer, just a bit underwhelming. I hope to be proven wrong!
Bro, it's literally a Teaser...just chiiiiiill, relax, wooooooosaaaawww...😅
Bro always has interesting and unexpected takes, but still has logical reasons to back them up. Even though I disagree, gotta respect it 💯
You should look up the word “logical”. I don’t think it means what you think it means lol.
Argh. I thought this would just be about the trailer. I've been heavily avoiding leaks. I had no clue about Daredevil 😭
Well it is the most viewed trailer in 24 hours so…
I also quite like the trailer
Clicked because the title was hilariously shocking and a cause of intrigue
The movie looks Great, glad they didn’t show wolverine, can’t wait to see it
Naw. Hugh needs to stay as Wolverine nobody should replace him
STEVE BLUM >
Nah I'm with you actually. It was the best Superbowl trailer, still underwhelming.
Like what's the premise here? What's the stakes? Who's the villain? With the whole being meta and multiverse thing, it's odd that the action is the typical Merc with Mouth action. Sure, there's a giant 20th Century Fox logo in the back but surely they could've done more?
Also, the music is ass.
I think you're a bit too paranoid mate. Ryan Reynolds is credited as a writer on the film, just as he was on the previous 2. That's all the reassurance we need really
Film-Speak I understand this is your opinion and you are in all honesty in titled to it, But
I have to say it man I love your videos I really do but just gonna be honest this one isn’t a great opinion I feel ever since across the spiderverse came out people have been nitpicking the Mcu for (Not utilizing the multiverse) but I feel like with Deadpool, they could and can have multiversal stuff but we have to keep the same tone of the first films
Also this may or may not take place before Logan, idk
But this teaser probably won’t show so much so just wait for the second one.
I'm noticing a lot of FilmTubers are having somewhat undercooked to extremely bad takes lately. I'd say this one is closer to undercooked. Maybe should've given a few more watches and another couple more days of thought. Y'know, let it marinade more.
Man, this is gonna be another Dune V Dune 2 situation 😂
Tell me you don’t know Deadpool without telling me. Everything they’ve been doing with Deadpool is so accurate to the character
What is Deadpool’s biggest flaw and fear?
This movie was only made because Disney is struggling, but still they’re gonna fumble.
Presales are doing numbers, so how much you wanna bet?
It is only overwhelming because of all the leaks
It doesn't take a genius to understand they purposefully didn't show Wolverine. Though I agree with your other points
Not gona lie I haven't agreed with most of your takes lately
you have such a cool concept as the multiverse and they only use it to bring old actors back or do cameos what a shame
It’s time to pack it up my guy
There is rumors that wolverine will be in secret wars with Deadpool
Ain’t no one watching your channel anymore after your Flash video
I loved the lack of him in the trailer
