I've been playing these type of dance games since 2003 so to me, it's pretty easy. I'd probably have tri-starred it if not for the damn stops. If it means something, I played it a few more times to try to 99% it and I literally can't get more than 88% now for some reason.

Holy shit. A couple friends and I wondered what an Undertale rhythm game would look like, with dynamic backgrounds and possibly with the boss songs having exclusive gimmicks. I don't think any of us ever imagined this song being this delightfully sadistic, but in retrospect it makes a lot of sense considering even in the default game Sans was basically stretching the term "fair" to it's absolute limit. The most impressive part for me though is the variable dialogue based on how many unsuccessful plays the song has and just the little touches to add authenticity.
Man, it's at the 2:00 mark where I started failing terribly on my attempts. (On pad) I love how Sans is programmed to talk shit to you each time you retry the song. Awesome chart man, I love this.

Thanks for this cool experience! I lost count at some point and Shadowplay broke the recording at some point, so the only thing I have is a second "successful" attempt that ends with a C. What a shame, I like making compilations of the last few seconds before losing. :/ It took me like 5 times to get to that very last part with the shift to the right and then another 3 or 4 until I managed to get that last one down... Wowzers. It's hard, but also not so hard that a bad player can't enjoy it, I like that. This, erm, mod(?) perfectly demonstrates what I love about the Sans fight. It messes with the rules while still making it clear enough what you're supposed to do. It tries to confuse you just enough to disorient you and catch you off guard, and it makes you relearn how to play without changing any controls. It's amazing.

no I mean like, if you've spent even 5 minutes playing mod files, you should be able to do it no problem. It's not about memorization at all, it's about getting good, reading from the bottom of the screen, and paying careful attention to arrow colors (shows the rhythmic timing)

I'll admit I wasn't expecting something this creative, even though I know people have done similar things for stuff like Pokémon. It does seem rather fitting that the game's simfiles would be presented in a way that reflects how you fight in the game.

Wowzers.
It's hard, but also not so hard that a bad player can't enjoy it, I like that.

This, erm, mod(?) perfectly demonstrates what I love about the Sans fight. It messes with the rules while still making it clear enough what you're supposed to do. It tries to confuse you just enough to disorient you and catch you off guard, and it makes you relearn how to play without changing any controls. It's amazing.

I'm not even a big fan of Undertale and I am FREAKING GEEKING OUT OVER THIS, OH MY GOD! THIS IS SO FREAKING COOL!!! The sheer amount of custom programing that must have gone into this, the creativity, the time!!! And then skill to play it! MIND. BLOWN. I keep watching it! I only wish I was good enough to actually play it myself! Maybe one day :) Also, today I learned that apparently the genocide run has some of the best music in the game- go figure!
