I'm washing a human hair wig for the first time and this is the most helpful video I've found. Thank you!

wash/straighten your wig every 2 weeks
1:35 wash with warm water
1:44 use shampoo and massage into the hair
4:12 condition the hair
4:57 comb hair & detangle when it has enough conditioner
6:02 scrunch up and put in plastic bag, tie it and let it sit for 1 hour
6:40 run water through it to rinse out conditioner again
7:28 dry hair (in vertical position)
7:55 air dry the hair (overnight)
8:43 flat iron routine

Thanks I really love this video I can now do it on my own cos the saloon where I took my hair to be wash the lady removed some of my hair leaving me with scanty wig, I had to spend extra money to make it Fuller. Only God knows why she did that to me and I trusted her.

Hello Kamohelo, honestly I don't use a lot, I wash my weaves, condition and use serum once in a while, the more products you use, will require the weaves to be washed more often and it will result to the hair being worn-out.

Hello Olubukola, heat protection is important, but most times I skip few steps as it is not my natural hair and can be easily replaced 🤗

I really don’t use any cream or oil on my wigs, because I feel that it damages the hair faster (don’t quote me anywhere), I am now trying to adopt that but still haven’t seen any to serve the purpose.

Hello Francine, honestly I don’t do much to my weaves, I only wash it, deep condition and use serums once in a while.
For curly hair, I use water to define the curls and keep it moving.
I feel that the more products you put in the hair, the more it will require washing and the faster it wears-out.
