That was so cool to watch but sad too. So after it's all burnt down and covered up place one of those huge rocks on top with an engraving that says.... "Here lies the old barn" with the date that it was buried. Then plant a tree so you can't see the house across the way.
My family had a cast iron tub like that when I was a child and those things are being refurbished and sold for quite a bit of money right now. They're actually fun if you can get it all nice and pretty again to put it in the homestead. They're really nice soaker tubs because they're so deep. That old stove is exactly like the one my Aunt and Uncle had in their old house when I was a child. It's still down in the holler in Kentucky today. I was going to ask you to ship me the bed frames and then you said you were keeping them. You broke my heart lol. I miss the old ways so I love the what's left over from them. It would have been nice to take my kids to the old house so they can stand on the back porch and brush their teeth or hang blankets up and take a bath between the clotheslines. I sure miss the good old simple days. I love everything you're showing because it reminds me of so much. Would like to see you do more things including loading up your equipment. 😢

Good job, I know I'm probably the only person watching these old videos, But I'm trying to catch up to everyone else. BUT IN THE Meantime I'm enjoying every minute of this footage thanks.

Figured that thing wasn't salvageable when you were talking about rebuilding it earlier. Kinda scary how easy it came down. Haha.

Kinda funny u mention a whole and burn it. My family had property that had a lot of dip and in order to level it we burned and old house in the holes and covered it. It works well.
