Oh, Jo, how I know that feeling. I actually turned to my son and told him that if he did not appreciate nature he should pretend that he does so that others would not think badly of him. But I have come to the realization that he just has a different way of appreciating things. I also developed a keen appreciation of gardening after 40 - soil contains anti depressants😊
