Thank you, Eric, Jonathan, and everyone in the Atlanta Master Chorale for your stunning performance of my arrangement! I hope I can write something just for you all someday. Sending you love and solidarity from Los Angeles during this coronavirus crisis.

This takes me back to being in Highschool, singing this arrangement with the rest of the choir. I had so many friends then and we worked really hard to make this song as beautiful as it was written to be. Thank you again, everyone.

Thanks for your kind words! We don't often do pieces like this, but we made an exception for this one...can you blame us!?

He's quite talented - congrats to your program! The arrangement has impeccably good balance between formal structure and pop informality that is frequently too difficult for academic composers to strike when working with credible pop music. Their sincere efforts so often lean way toward too stuffy and rigid. Brown, though, makes this pop-ish in the right places - but, he "don't be afraid" (ha...couldn't resist) to get chorally ravishing where he does...and he knocks it out of the park. Very moving. I love it! I've listened to it four times and still cried on the fourth...dang him! LOL

John Ward Thank you so much for your words! I’m just now seeing your comment, and it brought me joy in this time which is so difficult for musicians everywhere. 💙
