The trick when using a disposal is to let the water run for a while after turning off the disposal. That keeps the particulates from causing a stoppage.

I have an Insinkarator similar to the one you installed. Seem there is no way to change a worn out rubber black flaps at the top that stops stuff from going into the grinder from the sink without removing the whole unit. Is this correct? Seems like a poor design.
I don’t buy those Badger disposals any longer. The last one rusted out in less than five years and started to leak. I installed a new Waste King disposal which has a rust-proof body.

Your phone manners are similar to mine "abrupt" I try my best though but some times difficult when your deep into a job and the client keeps yapping and you have another six jobs to do.

The plumber, our hero, is unquestionably a nice guy....and trying very hard to be sociable with that customer....but I have to make a comment cos it's very noticeable that the guy was , all fairness, about as interesting as watching water dry....And yes, of course I know that thats not why hes there, but still, my god....dull dull dull human being...Yes, I know it's not the high school social but still....:D

I always tape the disposer key to a drain pipe under the sink with some black electrical tape. Always handy when you need it.

Those ISE badger disposals are a builders special. They don’t grind well and jam easy. The
ISE you replaced it with is a much better model.

Haven't had to snake a kitchen drain since getting rid of the garbage disposal. Mesh strainer does the trick.

That is an odd setup with two p-traps like that. It works just fine but I've never seen it done that way.
