The beauty of your videos is given by the way you film. Don't change it, it part of your authenticity. I am so curious about Nirvana, here in Europe there are nowhere to be found. LOVED ALL YOUR CHOICES ❤❤❤
Thank you for enabling me Ank! I didn't realize that the Nirvanas were never distributed to the EU. I'm surprised because they started at Sephora. I think they are a solid & interesting group of fragrances.
You're so right, I have nothing that smells like Dior Addict in my collection. It's very nostalgic to me because it reminds of a dessert my mom use to make for us with milk, vanilla and lime rind ❤
I really enjoy your perfume talks. I’m here for whatever you’ve got to show me from your eclectic collection regardless of the perfumes being older/discontinued. Vintage perfumes are so beautiful and interesting to me. Currently craving Portrait of a Lady by Frederic Malle, which is shocking because I used to hate it. Have a couple of samples of it which I’m using up and will now have to save up to buy it off the grey market, which is still crazy expensive.
I adore vintage too just so much more depth! Most channels never go backwards but that's what I have and wear:) I love Portrait to and it's lovely for fall. Amazing how our tastes change. FM is heavily faked though -- make sure you get it from a good discounter & not evilbay.
I went through a quarter of a 100 ml bottle of Molecule 01 + Iris this past summer. I love the dry down. It hasn"t been cold enough yet where I live so I've been enjoying some of my deeper scents but not the heavy hitters. I love your unedited videos Wendy! ❤
That version of Dior Addict you have is the 2012's 'Dior Addict Eau de Parfum' (how Fragrantica lists it). It's my favorite version they made! They reformulated in 2014 and that version is just a little more green in but still very good. I also have the original version as well and that has an amazing almost smokey opening but then it sits closer to the skin. The 2012 version is right in between the original and 2014 formulas and it has better sillage and it's very smooth. I love all your other choices as well!
I like your choices of fragrances. And I like your simple delivery sharing your experiences with the fragrances. The camera angle feels like I’m across the table in your kitchen just having a neighbourly chat. Because of the angle, I feel like I’m sitting in a kids chair 😂lol 😂 but I got used to that. I really enjoy your content.
Good afternoon Wendi. I was wearing Lagerfeld Classic yesterday, but nothing yet today. Anyway, I wanted to say how much I enjoyed your clip today. I think I could listen to you ramble (I will use your verb but I certainly don't agree with it :0) ) about your fragrances all day. Really great stuff and very entertaining. I'm really looking forward to the upcoming two parts to complete your autumn selection.
The notes for that look so amazing, with woods tobacco and florals! And so affordable. Thank you for being here & I'm glad you like the perfume rambling😊
I was late in seeing this video. Because of you, I just ordered a vintage bottle of sensuous. I never smelled it, but I do love many Estee Lauder fragrances. I found one very cheap on eBay because it was missing the cap. I hate that, but the perfume was too reasonable not to buy it. I’m sure I’ll love it because we have the same taste in perfume. 😁❤️
Hi. My autumn perfumes are: Coco Mademoiselle Intense Chanel Intense Cafe Montale La Belle Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Jean Paul Gaultier - I have a smaller bottle of this one, but I love it Twilly d’Hermès Hermès - You helped me with this one I believe. I asked you if it had a soap note? It doesn't and I love it, but I only have a travel spray for now. I want to spend some time with it. Malabah Penhaligon's - I only wore a few Penhaligon's perfumes for years, and this is an old love, It doesn't last long, but it's so nice. I was surprised to see this and grabbed it for old times sake. Nirvana Black Elizabeth and James - I picked up a rollerball on gray market because I smelled it years ago and thought I liked it. It's just OK. I gave it to my husband because i like it more on him. I think they are all pretty different which is what I wanted. Even the two Jean Paul Gaultier's are very different IMO.
I love Coco Mad Intense too there's a richer aspect to it that I love. And I'm so glad Twilly worked out for you! I've never tried and JP Gaultier, I wonder if I should?
@@wendisparadeofperfumes5034 Yes! Try La Belle. It's leathery without too much, and Scandal is a sweet one with honey and bees wax. It does have some Licorice and a caramel note that just seems sweet to me. Altogether it's a beauty, if you don't mind sweet.
And it doesn’t surprise me that your career is in animal care. You come across caring and honest, which I believe you would have to be to be working with animals.
Living in my Santa Maria novellas at the moment. Citta di Kyoto and opoponax. Still on my quest for zen….I hope you never edit your videos. The charm is in the silly stream of conscience. But clearly I would think that.
Haha Wendi's stream of consciousness:p. What are your favorite SMN? Melograno looks gorgeous and right up my alley. I've looked but never pulled the trigger.
@@wendisparadeofperfumes5034 Citta di Kyoto and opoponax definitely are my favorites. I actually blind bought melograno but never thought it was as great as the hype. I’ll have to get it out and try again-my nose has shifted recently so I might like it now.
@@wendisparadeofperfumes5034 so I got out my melograno and made it my SOTD, I’m still going to hold to my initial opinion, it’s not my favorite. I went to fragrantica to see how others characterize it- lots of people say soap or incense or potpouri. Yeah there is a distinct note that’s hard to pinpoint-people interpret it differently. I personally get fresh Polish potpouri. How’s that for specificity. It’s something you either vibe with or don’t. And yeah I was mildly let down because all of the reviews I saw on TH-cam before buying it had talked of the pomegranate note which I got none of. Reformulstion?
@@kellylyons7611 ah! Good to know. I dislike potpourri rose. Smells nice in passing but not wearing. I had the same thing happen to me with Tauer Incense Rose. Not sultry and smoky and rosey at all just Potpourri. Thank you for the recon ❤️

Wow that sounds lovely. There really is something about that vanilla! Thank you for sharing that Gerda❤️

That must be nice but effusive for summer. Almost anything with iris is lovely. And I'm glad you are good with my lazy style!

3 parts..yeah!! Love your videos ❤️
Dior Addict is my favorite!
Lol I'm going for marketing! Thank you Margo❤️
And Dior Addict really is incredible. One of the best vanillas. I'm so glad I didn't give up on it.
Another Sensuous fan here. I'm so mad that they discontinued it (it's not on the website anymore, and I don't think it's a bottle issue, sadly).
It's such a classic. I've never smelled anything else like it! It's not on the website but they say you can order it, though.
