In a more general sense, Augment stats trap some players, specifically those with trackers, into just picking an augment since it has the highest win rate, not because it's the best augment in their current spot. By removing Augment stats, the TFT team wants to make people take more varied augment choices and consider their spot instead of going off raw win rates. This should also make the game more difficult to "solve".
