The only thing I didn't like is that Subaru got his Magic gate destroyed and it didn't go back to being normal even after his death because of which Beatrice isn't able to get any mana from him.
He still produces mana, he just can't cast magic anymore, but it was fixed by his contract with beako, he can borrow her magic instead. Though subaru's mana pool was nothing sort of remarkable so beatrice can't unleash her full potential in casting magic.

On the other hand, beatrice can't draw mana from the environment anymore because of the contracts, she can only take mana from her contractor aka subaru, you probably misheard this one.
