I can't believe the couple implied the sister is jealous for thinking a venue is the most important thing to book 8 days before a wedding. What? 🤯🤯🤯 What?
She probably over steps her boundaries pretty often, but I agree. Her asking for help with the venue was completely necessary.
Notice they also never mentioned the sister being overly meddling with that wish again 🤔 They also gave her a second wish to do what she wanted with it!

Here is the shocking truth: God expects his people to participate in life events - not - expect things to fall in someone's lap.
Yes, all I could think from this episode is that faith without works is dead. Yes there are times when we are called to stay still and let God move but there are also times when we are called to act and that is why discernment is so important.

I went to a wedding ten years ago where 1. the venue was at a different place than stated on the invitation and 2.,the bride was an hour late. Nonetheless, the bride and groom are still very happily married.

This is the most feeble wedding. Can you imagine how much worse it would have been *without* Jane’s assistance? And that groom is worse than useless: “God brough Jane to us” NO: “god” didn’t do anything, your SISTER-IN-LAW, whom you thoroughly insulted and disparaged on television, stepped up and took all the steps necessary to make your wedding happen. You owe a huge debt of gratitude to her dedication and incredible patience, and her sensibility

What the heck was the matter with the pastor. Leaving the church locked and people standing outside both for the rehearsal AND the actual wedding. That was unprofessional, and unforgivable.
I don't care WHAT his excuse is. Vicarages are usually quite close to the church, and IF a prior meeting was running late, he should have phoned, or texted or emailed the couple as a matter of courtesy to warn them that he was running late..
I sure as hell wouldn't want HIM as the officiant at any ceremony of mine, I can tell you that.

Truth! Don't get me wrong lol I am guilty of having a pinterest board filled with ideas for my "if money was no option " dream wedding lol but I'm also realistic. I would have a small, simple outdoor wedding followed by a low key reception. Spending all that money on an over the top wedding that only lasts a few hours seems like a waste to me. Personally I would rather take the money I could have put towards a wedding and use it to take a longer, unique, fun honeymoon with the love of my life.
For me it comes down to which would I rather do.. spend a fortune to have an extravagant couple hours surrounded by our family and friends or use that to have a couple extra days alone with my new husband. I definitely know which one sounds like a better option to me lol 😂

Loved the choir. My parents are missionaries and have a lot of faith, but we planned everything down to the last detail when I got married. My mom even made a little binder with all of the info and checklists for just about everything. I was blessed to have her helping me and expressed that over and over.
Yes, God does help in our hour of need, but we need to be motivated. This couple were very ignorant and naive to believe that they could just pray, and voila, everything would appear. Jesus blessed a few fishes and a few loaves of bread, and fed 5,000, but Jesus did have the few fishes and loaves to start with, i.e., when you need something, you have to put forth an effort to get it. If the cheerleader sister hadn't have reached out to Jane, the bride would still be standing with fool by her side with nothing else.

*I seriously want to know who pays for the wishes that cost money, like the choir. In another episode they had no rings and couldn't afford any, and they were granted them in a wish by their son. There's at least one wish in every episode that cost money and I always want to know where that money is coming from.*
