Hi Dua! Unfortunately these days even in citizen sponsor cases it takes even more time. Generally it’s 2.5 to 3 years these days. Some cases are different where people are put in AP and it causes further delays. Also age difference matters but it’s not something that you can’t deal with strong bonafide evidences. Hi lakshay Thanks for your comment. As per my research Mumbai embassy is currently sending IL to Dec 2021 DQ dates for interview in August 2022 regarding CR1/ Ir1 visa. You can expect yours in 8-10 months after your DQ. The Service center affects the processing time of your I-130 Petition, once at NVC, it's pretty much dependent on local embassy.

My case is CR1 with expedite request approved, my interview date is 18 July 2022, I request you all to please pray for me and mam one thing, what they mention in my interview email I have to bring those documents with myself. If they ask me for any additional documents I can say that was mentioned in my interview letter. Is that fine?
Congratulations on your expedite approval! Also you must have all documents mentioned in instructions in your interview letter or email. I can tell from my personal experience that they will ask only what they have told you to bring. But definitely keep all those documents with you too that youve ever uploaded on NVC website or sent to USCIS. You should have them with you too to be on safe side.

Hi Hafsa, thanks for liking my videos! Our entire process took around 20 months, but this is because we completed the USCIS process before the pandemic. Since the pandemic, there is a backlog of cases which is delaying every step, including the interview at embassy. Last time I checked, ISL embassy is issuing interviews for June 2021 DQ date.
