Excellent podcast that, Chris was the first outdoor channel I watched and I continue to this day.
Ryan, you come across as a bit of a natural on the camera. Look forward to the next one. Again thanks for doing this 👍

That was so engrossing I totally lost track of time. Pendle Hill will draw you, it has that power and the Moorhouse's will help too getting you up there. The mental health passage was so engaging thanks lads. There are milestones in our lives and it seems to come in 20 year slots, so now passed 60 I'm on another. I've 5 years to retirement which to says, load a bike and vanish over seas for adventure- but health issues make me think now add in insurance for problems with my health, my medication is going to be expensive overseas, how do I work that and with a stressful job, will I make it passed 65? I think a walk sometime tomorrow might help. I do a circuit of the park where I live of a morning- helps get focused. Great one lads and now I've another channel to watch. Subbed. UTC

I am just listening to the rest of this vlog now so its day two for me. This is a brilliant conversation and really useful that you have both had the benifit of a few decades of change under your belts.....So many of these subjects resonate with me and i have fallen into the trap of consumerism too on occasion. However, i made a concious decision a few years ago that if i buy only the very best ie Hilleberg , Arcteryx and MSR then everything else is a waste of money and i will jump from Peter to rob Paul if i do not remind myself that i already have the best gear so its far better to just enjoy the outdoors and not bother watching gear reviews because the old adage of buy cheap buy twice is whats going to happen and in my opinion i think its better to focus on the enjoyment of being outdoors rather than being preoccupied with the lastest bit of Fad gear by one of the dare i say Average gear manufacturers. The brands i just mentioned are equivelent to Driving a Bentley and if you had one of them you wouldnt be looking at the latest Fiat for example. I am not being elitist or trying to brag by giving my opinion i just think that its far more cost effective in the long term to buy higher quality gear which i have found out to be a very good long term investment because i have got pretty much all my money back from selling my old Arcteryx jackets on ebay that i purchased in 2010 and a 7 year old Hilleberg Soulo i sold for 750.00 on ebay and bought the last green one in the uk from Tiso the very next day for 898.00 .....Anyway you two bounced off each other like two professional presenters in ths vlogg so very well done lads . Fantastic chat and i absolutley loved the subject matter, i hope you do more .

So sorry, i am listening to this in sections and commenting before i have listened to it all. I am a dad to a Daughter and granddad to a granddaughter and grandson and i couldnt even entertain the thought of losing someone that close......not sure where it comes from but i inately know 100 percent that i know i can handle anything that concerns ME but my biggest fear is if anything happens to my girls and my grandson that i cannot fix .

Awesome mate. Just watched part of it and faffed around trying to get it on my phone to play in the car. Is there a way to get audio only on something? I searched on my podcast app but couldn’t find it.
Cheers Ryan, it needed someone to do this well. Looks like you have. Kudos. 👏
