Hi sir, Thank you for all your hard work ,I was doing devops from your videos in that you told us about chgrp command I applied that command and when I checked the groups in cat/etc/group I saw that my group group1 don't contains that file but when I do ls -l for file1 it says file1 group as > group1.Can you please help why Iam not seeing file1 present under group1 in cat/etc/group (group1 is name of group I created)

I was working as Agile PM. Due to Covid my company downsized the teams and I was one among them. So I decided to refresh my Linux skills and came across this series. Hello Firstly Thank you, for all the efforts. I'm following all your content and practicing it these are some issue I faced and here are solutions for them if any one facing same it will help. When I'm practicing. If I'm idle for some time the session is getting inactive and not allowing me to enter anything. Solution: Go to settings select : restart session , this will fix temporarily, to make it active for long time Follow steps : Go to settings> change settings..> Connections . click on connections and you will see a small box with 0 in it change the value to 30 Click Apply done.
