As a anxious person who is often afraid of being under prepared, this video is sooo helpful to me. You’re just listing off things that you’re packing and have booked/planned but I managed to find a few things I haven’t thought of! I’ll be going to Japan at the end of the year and I’m bringing friends with me, it’s a lot to think of and be prepared for, so thank you for your type A personality and this helpful video 😆
i just want to say i appreciate you. im also a type A virgo, and i've often been teased by my friends when i've used google sheets to assemble outfits haha. i also like to pre-plan or make lists. it relieves anxiety for me and also makes it easier to know what to do/pack beforehand so im not scrambling last-minute. esp when doing a big overseas trip to japan for the first time! :) going next month, and im super excited! just wanted to say that youre not alone!!

Omg! I loved this video! The moment you said "if you dont pack using packing cubes, youre doing it wrong." I was like LOL - THIS GIRLS GOTTA BE A VIRGO! Low and behold.. Lol it totally reminded me of my sister. You go girl! Even tho im a Taurus, I totally planned out my outfits on an outfit planner app too. It helps me minimize overpacking and making sure pieces match/go together so I dont have to think to much. Great video, keep it up!
im going to tokyo-osaka for 14 days next month and im planning to just bring a small full suitcase in a large empty suitcase so i get to shop like crazy

It was so good! It made sleeping so much more comfortable since I liked being able to keep my feet up higher - it's a more comfortable position for me. The splitter is also fantastic if you like using wired earphones but still want to charge ❤️
did you need any docs or permissions for your meds? im thinking of bringing some upset stomach meds and prescriptions as well but i know some ingredients are illegal in japan

I think it was worth it for me because I used it to go from Tokyo to Kyoto and back to Tokyo. But if you’re only staying in one area, it’s not worth it. When my JR pass expired, I just used my Suica. If you have a non-Visa card, try that! I used my Mastercard to add money to my Suica and it worked perfectly fine. I believe Visa cards have to be Japan-issued in order for it to work

I recommend one of those neck pillows that allows you to attach the pillow to the headrest! It’s such a game changer I think it’s called cabeau evo

Are packing cubes better than vacuum sealed bags to compact clothes to make more space? 😅 downside is your clothes get wrinkled from being compacted.
